-Second Phase: Forest of Death-

Y/N P.O.V

I've heard so many things about that guy. He used the forbidden jutsu to make himself an immortal. But his body will rot over time, so he will always need a new vessel. Then that's mean he's looking for the new vessel. But who? I have to be careful with this guy.

Anko told us we have a few hours to prepare ourself for this phase. I jump on top of a rock and take a sit. I hug one of my knee, while letting the other dangle a little.

Then I sense someone. I look down to see Gaara. I smile at him and jump down. "Hey..." I said. He just stare at me. "Um... are you okay?" I asks. He didn't answer, then he just walks away. 'Hm... Weird guy...' I thought to myself.

He looks like he wants to say something, but is holding back... I heard Saphira said. You really think so? Hm... I wonder what he wants to say... I reply. He probably wants to wish you good luck... he have that look on his eyes... she said again. Look? What look? I asks, in confusion. Wow you're so oblivious... she said. I just pout after hearing what she said.

Someone tap my shoulder, snapping me out of my thought. I turn my head to see Sasuke. "You okay? Why are you pouting all the sudden?" He asks. I rub my neck and give him a sheepish smile. "Uh... it was nothing... I was just thinking about something" I said. "Oh... okay..." he said. I just smile at him. Then out of no where, he grabs my hand and pulls me into a hug.

I gasp in shock by the sudden movement. "I like you, Y/N... wait wait.... actually you can scratch that.... I love you..." he whispers. "I-" I start, but he cuts me off. "Don't answer now... I don't want to hear it yet... I wanna focus on this phase... tell me your answer later. After this phase is over" he said. Then he pecks my lips and runs away. My eyes widened even more.

"W-what just h-happened?" I stutter out. Girl... you just got a confession. I was right when I say he likes you... hahahaha I heard Saphira laughing inside my head. My cheeks turns a blood shade of red. I didn't notice someone is staring at me.

Gaara P.O.V

I saw what that Sasuke did to her. He kissed her. I clench my fist. Why am I so affected by her... why now? I never show any emotion before.

Am I... in love?

Time-skip

Sasuke will be the one to take the scroll. Me and the others just wait patiently for him to come. It took him about a 4 minutes, until he comes towards us.

Then the gate starts to open and Anko starts to count down. When she reaches one, we runs inside. Then we come to a slow when we're far enough. "So... now what?" I asks. No one answers me, that was until Sasuke turns to me.

He take out the scroll from his hostler. "Here... you keep it... you'll be better at keeping it safe than me..." he said, tossing it to me. I caught it and look at him. "Are you sure?" I asks. He nods his head and smiles at me. "Okay then..." I said. Then I create a portal and toss it in. "I can take it out when on the right moment... it'll be safer there..." I said. They just nod at me. Suddenly a loud scream is heard.

"What the heck was that??" I said, suddenly feeling a bit scared. "Someone must've already striking the opponent... which means the phase have officially begin..." Naruto said. "That was nerve wrecking..." I said. "Let's get going and find an opponent so we can get the scroll..." Sasuke said. Then we start walking deeper into the forest.

"I... gotta pee..." Naruto said, running towards a tree as he starts to unzip his pants. Then someone covers my eyes. By the scent, I can tell that it's Sasuke. Then a sound of someone getting hit. I'm guessing Sakura have punched Naruto.

"Not here idiot! There's girl here... do it else where!" She scolds him. I grab Sasuke's hand and remove it from my eyes. "Thanks Sasuke... but I could've just cover them on my own..." I said. He just looks away with a blush on his cheeks.

Then Naruto came back. "Ahh~ that was a lot! I can even write my name..." he said. I instantly notice that he's not Naruto. An imposter...

I grab my kunai and throws it at him. "Ahh!!! Y/N-Chan! I know that's gross but you don't have to throw Kunai at him!" Sakura said, clearly freaked out by my action. I turn to her and points at Naruto "look at him, Sakura-Chan! He's not Naruto!" I said. "What are you talking about? I'm Naruto!" 'Naruto' said. I grab my sword handle and unsheathe it. I point it at him. "If so... what happened to the cut that Anko gave you?" I said. Sasuke stands next to me, looking ready to fight. "And Naruto's a right handed... you're even worse at transformation jutsu than Naruto!" He said.

I was about to attack him, but Sasuke outstretched his arm in front of me to stop me. "Y/N... go look for Naruto... I'll handle him..." he said without looking at me. "Alright... be careful Sasuke..." he glance at me and smile "okay..." he said. Then I jump towards where Naruto have went off to. I found him tied up.

I grab a kunai and cut the rope. "Seriously... be more aware of your surrounding, Dummy..." I scold him. He looks away in embarrassment. Then I pull him into a hug. "But I'm glad you're okay..." I said. He hugs me back. "I'm sorry to make you worry, Y/N-Chan..." he said.

Then I stand up. I held out my hand to him and he grabs it. I pull him up. "Let's go back to the others..." I said. "Okay" he said. Then we make our way back to the others.
