Chapter 9

Previously on Chapter 8

I let out a sigh and excuse myself. Then I leave the room. Feeling tired, I decide to just head to bed. But since I just finished eating. I take a seat on my futon and grab a book. I start to read for a while. Once I'm sure it's okay to lay down and that the food won't come back out. I place the book mark on the current page and lay down. I close my eyes and fall asleep.

-Battle on the Bridge-

Y/N P.O.V

Naruto worn himself out, so Kakashi-Sensei told us to just leave him resting. That boy... he always push himself to the limit. He's so determine to be the next Hokage.

We head to the bridge to guard Mr. Tazuna as he continues to build the bridge. But when we get there, everyone is laying around on the bridge.

"What's going on here??" I heard Mr. Tazuna said. I run towards one of them and place my hand on his neck, checking his vital point. "He's still alive... but his vital point is weak..." I said. Then I place my hand on top of his chest. "Waise heill" I said. A soft blue emits from my hand.

The guy slowly starts to wake up. "What happened, sir?" I asks, helping him to sit up. "He's dangerous. He  did this to all of us... you need to leave... and safe yourself" he said. Just then, I feel a strong chakra. I stand up and place my hand on my sword.

"Kakashi-Sensei... they're here!" I said. "Yeah... I can feel it too..." he said. I stand on a battle stance as I wait for an attack.

"Skulbakas Ven" I said, sharpening my eyes. Zabuza appears and stand at the edge of the bridge. "Looks like the brat is back... the poor thing is shaking..." he said. "I'm shaking... with excitement!" Sasuke said. Zabuza created water clone.

"Go on, Sasuke..." Sensei said. Sasuke run forward and attack every clone. "The best improves... looks like you got yourself an opponent, Haku..." Zabuza said. "And so it seems..." the same boy disguising as the tracker ninja appear.

"Y/N... stay out of the fight... we need you as a back up... protect Mr. Tazuna for now" Sensei said. "I got it Sensei..." I said. I pull out my sword, ready to attack at command. I stand in front of Mr. Tazuna to protect him.

Suddenly ice mirror starts forming into a dome around Sasuke. "Sasuke!" I said, about to run forward. "Stay back, Y/N! Do as Kakashi-Sensei said! We need you as a back up!" He screams at me, which makes me stop dead in my track.

I clench my hands around my sword's handle. I'm really worried about Sasuke's well being. I've seen this technique before. No one has ever manage to fight back. This technique have taken a lot of life's.

Then suddenly, Naruto appears... causing a loud commotion. "Hero's always appear late! Naruto is back, Dattebayo!" He screams. Then he appears inside the dome next to Sasuke, earning a yell from him and I.

"Sensei! I need to help them! I can't just stand here and do nothing... they'll die!" I yell after Sensei. I turn to Mr. Tazuna. He sees the discomfort in me. "Go and help your friends..." he said. I create a clone and told her to stay with Mr. Tazuna to protect him. Then I run towards the ice mirror dome.

No matter what I do to the dome, it just won't break.
What the heck are those things made off!! There has to be a way to destroy it... but what?

I can see Sasuke appearing in front of Naruto to cover him from all the needles. Then he passed out. "Sasuke!!" I scream, worried for my friend. Then I feel the change in Naruto. My eyes widened "nine-tailes... it broke loose!" I said. The ice dome starts to melt and Naruto attacks Haku mercilessly.

He stops dead in his track when Haku's mask broke. "Y-you... you're the boy from yesterday..." Naruto said. Then Haku disappear and reappear in front of Zabuza who's about to get hit by Kakashi-sensei's Chidori.

Zabuza said something that enraged me. I punch him hard on the face. "He meant nothing to you? Nothing at all... he cares so much about you and willing to do anything for you... and all he is to you is just a toy!" I scream at him. "Please stop talking... your words cut deeper than a knife..." he said. I was surprise to see the tears in his eyes.

Then Gato appear with his men. He told Zabuza that he's only using him, just like how he's using Haku. I clench my fists at the sight of Gato.

Zabuza asks Naruto for a Kunai. Then he starts to attack Gato's men. I pull out my sword and went to help him. "Thanks for helping me, kid... but leave this guy to me..." he said. I just stand back and watch as he kills Gato.

Then Zabuza falls to the ground. "I want to see him... before I go..." he said, referring to Haku. Kakashi-Sensei picks him up and carries him to Haku. He place a hand on Haku's cheek. "I won't be able to go where you'd go, Kid... I never got a chance to say thank you to you..." he said. Then he turns to look at me. "This might not mean anything for what I have done to you and your village in the past... but I am sorry..." he said. I bit my lips as tears streams down my cheeks "I... I f-forgive you..." I choked out. Then his breathing slowed, until he's gone.

The remaining of Gato's men told us that they are going to take everything from us, because we have killed their boss... in results no one pay them. Then an arrow appears out of no where and lands in front of them.

I turn around and grin. "Inari!" I exclaim. "Hero always come late, right!" He said, smiling at me. I give him a thumbs up. "I'm going to help..." I said. Then I create 100 of clones. Naruto and Kakashi-Sensei did the same. Those bandits got scared and took of running for their life.

"Victory!!!!" Inari screams and we all cheers. We won... we finally won! And I've learn a valuable lesson today... always cherish those who are there for us... because we never know how much time we have with them... and to let go of the past to get a better future...
