Chapter 25

His face saddened at what I said. "I don't want to be just your friend... I want to be more than that..." he said, his voice barely above whispers. But I can still hear him. I open my mouth to say something, but he just shake his head. "Forget it, Y/N... just forget it..." he said, then the turn around to walk away.

-Mission: Bring Sasuke Back-

Y/N P.O.V

I wake up to the sound of rapid knocking. I groggily stand up and walks towards the front door. I open it to reveal a panicked looking Naruto. "What's wrong, Naruto?" I asks. "We need to go to Granny Tsunade's office... Sasuke left the village last night! Hurry up, Y/N-Chan!" He said, rapidly. My eyes widened "I got it... I'll get ready as fast as I can!" I said, running back in.

Changing into my ninja outfit, I grab all the weapon I will need on this mission, from kunai, shuriken and my sword, not forgetting an explosive tags as well. Once I get everything, I run out of the door. "Let's go!" I said, then start running towards the Hokage's office. Naruto runs close behind me.

It only takes us about 10 minutes to reach to the Hokage's office. I knock on the door and hear "come
in" from the other side of the door. I open the door and enters, with Naruto following me.

"I'm guessing you've heard about what happened, Y/N..." Lady Tsunade said. "Yeah... Naruto told me..." I said, nodding my head. "You'll be going with them... you'll be a second in command in this group in case Shikamaru have a hard time managing the group... you may leave now..." Lady Tsunade said. I bow at her as a sign of respect. Then we all leave the room.

The one going to this mission will be, me, Naruto, Shikamaru, Kiba, Neji and Choji. "So here's how we'll be going to this mission..." Shikamaru start. "Y/N... you'll be in the center with Neji, because you have that dragon eyes of yours..." he said. "Okay... I got it..." I said, nodding my eyes. Then we head off.

I'm right behind Neji. 'Sasuke... why would you just leave? Are you still that into getting revenge or is it because of me...' I thought to myself.

"Y/N! Focus!" I heard Neji calling out. I shake my head "sorry..." I said. "Skulvakas Ven..." I said. My eyes instantly sharpened. I look left and right to make sure no one is planning to attack us. So far, no ones around.

"Guys stop!" I yell out. They instantly stops and turn to me. "What is it, Y/N. I point above us. "They've set a bunch of explosive tags..." I said. "We have to find a different way..." Shikamaru said. "No... there is no need..." I said. I form a bunch of hand sign and all the explosive tags vanishes. They all stare at me wide-eyed. "How did you?" Shikamaru said. "Doesn't matter how I did that... we need to keep going. They are getting too far..." I said. "Right... lets go!" He said. Then continue to jump from tree to tree.

We stopped once again, this time by Neji's. "There they are... they seem to be resting..." he said. I turn my head to where he's pointing at, and soon enough I saw exactly what he said. "Yeah... they're there..." I said. Shikamaru starts to form a plan on how we can ambush them.

Time skip

One by one, one of us left behind to battle against the sound Ninjas. It's just Naruto and I left. Sasuke who's been inside a barrel got taken away.

Now we come into a clearing. The guy holding the barrel stops running and place it down. "Give him back!" I scream. "He came with his own free will... you have nothing to do with it... just go home. You'll only waste your time... Sasuke belongs to my master now... he said.

By master... I know he meant Orochimaru. I clench my hands into a tight fist, feeling Saphira's chakra starts to flow inside me.

"And who are you to tell us what to do?! Don't just claim Sasuke... he's our best friend. He belongs only to himself and his place is back in Konohagakure with the rest of us... he doesn't belong to that stupid psychotic pedo bastard!!" I scream at him.

"I am Kimimaro... lord Orochimaru's right hand. I will stop at nothing in achieving what my master desire..." he said. I clench my hand into a tight fist. "And I will stop at nothing to get Sasuke back!" I scream at him.

Behind him, I can see black smoke coming out from the barrel. Then it exploded to reveal Sasuke. His skin turned grey and his hair turned purple. I stare at him in shock. What happened to him. Why did he look like that??

"Sasuke!" I call out. He starts to laugh like a maniac. "Sasukeeee!!!!" I scream loudly. He stops laughing and turn to look at me. "Y/N... what are you doing here? If you try to convince me to come back... I will not... this is the path that I've choose... and no one can stop me... not even you! All you've done is hurt me..." he said, I can see the anger in his eyes. Then he turn around and leave.

"Naruto... go after Sasuke... he won't listen to me..." I said. "Are you sure? That guy seem dangerous..." he said, looking worried. "Naruto! There's no time to worry about me... you have to go!" I scream at him. He flinch and give me a quick hug. He pulls away but his hands is still on my shoulders. "Be careful Y/N-Chan..." he said. I nod my head "go now..." I said. He nods his head and start to run after Sasuke.

Kimimaro try to stop him. But I appear in front of him. The sharp edge of my sword is pointing at his neck. "Not so fast... I'll be your opponent..." I said. "L/N Y/N... lord Orochimaru also mentioned you. He wants me to get you as well..." he said. I clutch my sword tighter. "Like hell he will!" I spat at him. I don't care about my well being. I need to fight this guy. Only one thought inside my head as I ready myself for battle.

Naruto... please bring back Sasuke
