Chapter 3

"Well... I guess that's it... see you guys tomorrow then... bye~" I said, getting up and head back to my apartment to get some rest for the day.

-Survival Test-

Y/N P.O.V

I woke up half an hour early from 5. Even though I'm not a morning person... I know I have to wake up early... I don't wanna be late for the first task.

I get up from the bed and head straight to the bathroom. I start my morning routine by showering, brushing my teeth, combing my hair and so on. Then I put on my ninja outfit and head to the kitchen.

I stop for a moment, remembering what Kakashi-Sensei said. Don't eat breakfast... or you'll puke. 'Should I eat or not?' I wonder to myself.

Hey Saphira... do you think I should eat? I asks her. You should, kid... otherwise you won't have any energy... she replies. Welp... okay then... I'll just have a piece of toast.

I make my way to the training ground with a piece of toast in my hand. When I got there, I saw everyone else is in there.

"You shouldn't be eating, Y/N-Chan! Kakashi-Sensei said so" Sakura scold me. "He said "I suggest" he did not directly said we couldn't. So?" I said. That shuts her up. I just sit under a tree and continue eating my toast.

2 hours have passed and there is still no sign of our sensei. I let out a huff. "I should have know... he was late on the first meeting... he would definitely be late again..." I said. "Yeah! That guy is always late!! How can someone like him be a Sensei!" Naruto chimes in. I just shrug and lay on my back. I stare up at the sky. One hand behind my back and another on my necklace.

Why my village have to perish? I wish I can still be there... with my family... I thought to myself. I just stay like that for a while. Thinking the possibility about what will things be like if my village didn't perish.

Then out of no where... a kunai was thrown my way. Out of instinct, I grab the holder of the kunai. I turn the kunai into a defense mode. I look around in alert only to see Kakashi-Sensei with amusement visible in his eye.

"Seriously Sensei... this thing are dangerous! Why'd you throw it like that! And why are you so late!!" I scream at him. "I just wanna test how well you are in handling situation like this... but I must say... you really impressed me... well done, Y/N..." he said. I roll my eyes and stands up. I walk until I'm right in front of him. "Whatever... good to know that my suppose to be Sensei didn't care about the student's life and just throw a kunai like some sort of toys!" I said, throwing the kunai back at him.

He just chuckle and place a clock on top of a stone. "This clock right here will determine the time limit, which will be until noon..." he said. Then he pulls out 3 bells. "And these right here... will be your target... those who manage to take it from me will officially be a part of team 7... those who fail... will be tie up into one of that post and didn't get any lunch..." and that's when everyone else's stomach starts to grumble.

Kakashi-Sensei turns to look at me. "I'm guessing you've eaten... am I right? You've broke my rule..." He said. "I didn't exactly break any rule, Sensei... you said "I suggest" not "I command" you to not eat any breakfast. So?" I said, raising an eye-brow at him. "Smart kid..." he said. "I'll take that as a compliment, thank you..." I said, bowing at him.

The trial soon begin. As soon as he said start, I jump and hide under the bushes. Saphira... is there any specific purpose for this? I asks her. Think... kid, I can't keep guiding you on everything She said. I let out a huff fine... stingy I said, sulking. Which earns a chuckle from her.

'Alright... alright... think Y/N... think! What's the purpose of this..." I keep straining my brain to think of any specific purpose for this trial. Then my eyes widened "that's it!! Teamwork!" I said, gleefully. Well done, kid... I know you can do it... She praises me. Thank you for believing in me... I said, smiling. Now to find the others and tell them about it.

Time-skip

None of them cared. Naruto thinks he needs to fight alone to see stronger. Sasuke thinks everyone is below him.... and Sakura... all she did is chasing after Sasuke. So much for teamwork....

I jump on top of a tree and look down at the shadow of the trees. 'It's almost noon... we're running out of time...' I thought to myself and groan in frustration. Soon enough the clock rings.

We are now gathering around in the post, with Naruto tied up on one. Apparently, he tried to eat one of the bento boxes.

"I've decided 3 of you will not be sent back to the academy... all 3 of you should be drop out of the program permanently" Kakashi-Sensei said. "W-wait... 3?" Sakura said. "Yeah... 3 because one of you have figured out the purpose of this test..." he said. "Whats the purpose?" Sakura asks again. "It's so basic! Y/N... tell them... tell them what you've been trying to get them to do..." he said, looking at me. "Teamwork, Sensei..." I said. "Precisely... and none of you listen to her!" He said.

Kakashi Sensei have decided to give them one more chance. They can eat the meal, but Naruto didn't get any.

I just sit in silent as I begin to eat. Then I heard a loud grumble. I turn to look at Naruto... who's trying to look strong. I let out a sigh and move to sit in front of him. I scoop up a bit of rice with chopsticks and hold it up to his mouth. "Eat some, Naruto..." I said. "Y/N-Chan! Kakashi-Sensei said not to! Are you out of your mind?!" Sakura said. "Think about it Sakura... if Naruto got hungry... he's going to slow us down... he needs the energy... besides... Sensei isn't anywhere near by... so it's okay!" I said. They start joining me in feeding Naruto.

Then out of no where, Kakashi-Sensei appears with a boom. "You! You broke the rule! Any last word??" He said, looking furious. "We.." Sakura starts. "We are a team!" Sasuke said. "All of us are one!" Naruto and I said simultaneously. "All of you are one... is that your final answer... hmm... you passed. In the Ninja world... those who breaks the rules are scum. That's true... however, those who abandoned their comrade are worse than scum!" he said. We cheers happily. We passed!

We're officially a part of Team 7!!!
