Why did I feel relieved when I found out she doesn't like him back. Does this mean I like her? Do I really like Y/N... well... I have to admit that she's different and seeming kind. I guess... that could only mean one thing...

-Third Phase: Preliminary Matches-

Y/N P.O.V

We are now gathering in what seem to be an arena. I think it's where people battle. I observe all around the place, there are benches. I'm guessing they are all for the audience.

I look forward when Hokage starts to speak. He is congratulating us for passing the first and second phase. Then he starts to explain the purpose of the Chunnin exam. Other than proving one strength and if they're worth being a Chunnin. It is also to unite all nations.

I hear Sasuke and Sakura arguing. I glance to them. Sasuke is clutching onto his shoulder and Sakura is trying to get him to quit this phase.

"I'm going to tell them..." Sakura said, was about to raise her hand. But I outstretch my hand, a soft f/c emits from my hand. The same light appear on her hand. I lower my hand down, making her lowered her's.

She looks at her hand, struggling to raise it. She looks around, until her eyes landed on me... at my outstretched hand. "What are you doing, Y/N-Chan?Let go! I have to tell them!" She said. "It's not your decision to make..." I said. "But... but..." she stutter. I glare at her. "She's right, Sakura... it's not your choice. Stop being so annoying" Sasuke said. Tears starts to form at the edge of her eyes. "Why do you have to push yourself so far, Sasuke-Kun?" She said. "Just stay out of it, Sakura-Chan!" I said. She bit her lips and looks down. I release my technique on her hand, and watch her in case she tries to raise it again.

Once I make sure she won't, I look back up to the Hokage. "You'll be fighting against each other one on one..." he said. Then he points to a board. "The two names appear on the board, stays on the arena. The others, please head up to the podium and as you wait for your turns..." he said. I turn my head back to the board.

Uchiha Sasuke VS Yoroi

Then I turn to Sasuke. "Good luck, Sasuke..." I said. He turns to me and smile. I walk past him, but he stops me by wrapping his arm around my waist. I turn to him, looking at him in confusion. "What are you doing?" I asks. He pulls me closer. "I know you said you don't like me back... but can I kiss you? As a good luck charm..." he said. "Um..." I stutter. He did not wait for an answer and stole a kiss.

Gasps can be heard all around me. I pull away and run out of the arena. I stand next to Naruto in the podium. "Are you and him together?" Naruto asks, looking shocked. "N-no... h-he kissed me..." I said. "Oh... okay..." Naruto said. I didn't notice a smile on his lips.

Naruto P.O.V

I'm glad she didn't like Sasuke. I heard that Sasuke confessed to her and she rejected him. The truth is... I've always have a crush on her. She's the only one who have always been there for me. She treated me with so much kindness. She never once judge me. I love her for that... but would she like me back... or she just sees me as a friend, like she did to Sasuke.

Gaara P.O.V

Again... he kissed Y/N... why the aching feelings in my heart keep on coming every time I see that guy around her.

I glance at Y/N who's focusing on the battle. She's so beautiful... she seem kind as well. But would she like someone like me? I'm just a monster...

Y/N P.O.V

I can feel eyes on me. I know who it was from, but I don't give a mind to it and focus on Sasuke's battle. Why everyone suddenly took a liking towards me.

Seems like there's 3 boys likes you, kid... so who are you going to choose? Saphira said. Saphira... can you please don't talk about it?? Gosh... thinking about it gives me a headache. I don't think I like any of them... or do I? Gosh I don't know anymore... I said. Slow down, kid... give it some times... I'm sure one day you will know who to choose among them... you already make it clear that you don't like Sasuke... so it makes Naruto and Gaara left... don't rush it... she said. Hmm... yeah whatever... I said.

Sasuke ends up winning the match. Kakashi-Sensei escorts him out of the arena. He's probably going to perform a sealing jutsu on Sasuke's curse mark. I just hope he's going to be alright.

The board starts to shuffle again. I just stay silent as I observe it, to see who's going to battle next. Then it stops on two names.

L/N Y/N VS Akio Ruka

"Looks like it's your turn now, Y/N-Chan..." Naruto said. "Hmm... looks like so..." I said, I swung my feet over the fence and jumps down. I land smoothly on both of my feet.

A boy around my age jumps down as well. My eyes widened when I realize who Akio really is. "Akio!" I said. He smiles at me. "Hey Y/N... I'm so glad to know that you've made it out alive..." he said. Akio is my older brother. I thought everyone died during the attack, but seems like I'm not the only one.

"Begin!" The proctor said. "Don't worry... I'll go easy on you... N/N (Nickname)" he said, standing on a battle stance. This makes me smirk "you better don't underestimate me, bro..." I said. He just chuckle and run forward. I dodge each of his attack with ease.

"Hm... looks like you've improved..." he said. "You too... looks like we're even now..." I said. "Not for long..." he said. He swung his sword out at me. I block it with mine. We go so fast that all the people watching us, would only see blurry images.
