Long time no see right? Or should I say read ;-). So listen guys, I'm sorry that I haven't updated in an extremely long amount of time but now I'm going to start updating again. I had to read my entire story again to remember what I had written, crazy right? Anyways I just want to 1.) apologize for my grammar mistakes in the first 16 chapters of this story, my word why didn't anyone tell me I sounded like a monkey with a typewriter. (That's the expression right?) and 2.) I want to apologize for abandoning this story when it was most certainly not done. I do have to say that my life is extremely busy but I will be trying to update regularly.

Abby's Background:

Okay, so I feel like the beginning of the story was confusing when it was talking about Abby and her loss of Lana.

Abby, Jett, and her parents lived in a city for most of their life. That's where she became best friends with Lana. The summer before Abby's freshman year they moved to a much smaller town, somewhat far away. Over the first month of summer they would take turns going to each other's houses, hence the scene where Abby flashes back to a memory of them on her roof. That was in her NEW house AFTER they moved. Abby got the call about Lana's death while it was still summer, but nobody was home so she couldn't go see her after it was done. After this Abby fell into a depression, but with school right around the corner she packed her feelings down and acted like nothing was wrong.

Once school started Abby befriends Jessica and they quickly become close. Abby doesn't tell anybody about her problems and nobody knows about Lana.

Jett's Background:

Okay, so I also feel like Abby and Jett's relationship was a bit confusing. Jett and Abby were very close until Abby started middle school and Jett started high school. Jett got involved with the "popular" kids at school and began to get involved with drugs and such. They're relationship hangs by a thread because Abby and Jett have grown so far apart and Jett has abandoned Abby. Also, Jett does smoke cigarettes, I don't know if y'all remember that or not.
