Chapter Eleven

As the guys fought over who's name was going to go first I watched Katie and Tiffany chatting and I couldn't tell whether it was friendly or not. I was confused by Katie's reaction, I thought she'd be happy that I was getting on with my life as normal but she seemed upset and even though I really wanted to know why, something was stopping me from asking her. The guys had just finished typing all the names in when I saw Tiffany heading towards us and Katie heading towards the bathroom.

"You guys Ok?" I asked her.

"Of course, just a little girl chat." Tiffany told me leaning in and kissing me on the cheek.

I had to believe her I mean I had no reason not to, but I had notice that I was feeling less and less comfortable around Tiffany and I wasn't sure why. I mean I guess it was because she had expectaions of me and no one else did. I was her boyfirend, there was certain things we were meant to do, and I know that most guys would kill me for saying this but we are just like girls, we worry about certain things, and even though I was 18 in my mind I guess I was still 15 and I was worried that 15 year old me wasn't ready and that 18 year old Tiffany was and she'd get bored of just holding my hand.

"Chris it's your go," Brett called, getting me out of my day dream.

That had been happening alot lately, I'd just wander from reality until someone called me back. After I took my first shot; and got a spare I tried to make an effort to really stay in the game, mind and body and even though I did notice Katie leave to go on her lunch break I did well and manage to stay awear for the rest of the game. The guys had a great time but instead of another game they decided to head off and I agreed I should get back as Mum was keeping me on a tight leash these days.
