Chapter 26

Katie

A week later me and Chris are at work, it's  Saturday and we are packed. Chris had been cooking most of the day and I have been handling shoes non stop. It was crazy how many people flocked to indoor acitives because of a bit of rain. We were going through a quite spell when I felt Chris come up behind me.

"Hello beatuiful," He said as he slip his arms around my waist.

I truned to face him and he gave me a kiss.

"Hello to you too." I smiled up at him.

I turned back around with him still hanging on to me when I heard the door open. When he saw it was his friends he didn't bother moving away. We hadn't seen them as a couple yet but they knew.

"Brett," Chris called right in my ear and i smacked his arm in a playful way. He kissed my neck and started nibbling my ear.

"Pack it in." I told him although if we'd been anywhere else that would have been the last thing I said.

Everyone sat down at one of the booths we had and Brett came over.

"You going to give us any free food?" He asked.

"No way." Chris and me said together. Brett eyed me suspisously but let it drop.

"Five burger and chips then please." He said smiling.

I actually thought we might get through this when Tiffany wandered over. She smiled at Chris and totally blanking me asked him if he was busy later. He looked at her with a blank experssion as he replied.

"Yeah me and Katie are going to the cinema."

She looked at Brett and deicding not to care that he was there she looked at him and said "Sure you want to be doing that after all we have out little secret don't we?"

Chris let go of me and I leaned over the counter and whispered in a very loud voice "If you can straddle a man topless and still not get laid you have problems."

She jumped back in shock and I laughed, I couldn't help it. I was fed up with her getting one up on me. Tiffany walked out in furstaion and her friend followed her. Brett turned to look at us with the strangest expression on his face.

"She was on you topless and you said no mate?" He asked Chris. 

"It's called love mate, you should try it." Chris told him.

Brett looked over at his group of friends and stared at the only girl left, her blonde ringlets sat just on her shoulders as she chatted with the boy opposite her.

"I think I have mate." He told us.
