Chris

I was finally told hours later what was wrong we me. I have amnesia, its 2012, i'm 18. I feel like I'm going nuts. Specially I have Post Traumatic Retrograde Amnesia which basically meant that due to the head injury I obtain during the car accident I have forgotton the last three years of my like. Three years! I can't get my head around it, alot can happen in three years and lucky old me remembered zilch.

It wasn't untill around 4pm that I was finally in with a chance of someone telling me what had happened to me in the years I had forgotten. Mum did her best, but even she agreed that she didn't really know what I did when I wasnt with her, I think she felt bad because even though I wasnt meant to have any visitors that weren't family she let Brett in.

"Hey Chris," he said giving me a high five.

"Jeez you've grown," I told him stuipdly sitting up.

"Your mum said you have some problem with your memory?"

"Yeah last thing I remember we were fifthteen." I tell him.

"No shit? Really. Thats bad. Wait till the guys hear about this."

Brett's black hair was shorter and more styled than what he wore it at 15 and he definitly moved on from gangly 15 year old to a well tonned man. I was quite jealous untill I remembered the same change had happened to me.

"What happened to us?" I asked him and lucky for me he knew what I meant.

"We started working out bro, and your dad takes us conoeing some weekends." Brett told me with a smile on his face.

"Has a lot chaneged?" I ask him suddenly quite scared by that exact prospect.

"Not really dude, I mean we grew up, learnt to drive and you got a job but you're still the same guy really and we still hang around with the same people."

"That should help then I guess, I'd hate to not reconise anyone," I told him.

"It's not going to be easy dude, but your mum said that as long as you do the stuff you used to then the doctors are hopefull your memory will come back."

"Yet I'm still not allowed home until tomorrow, bloody stupid."

Brett laughed and for the rest of the evening he caught me up on a few funny stories and other general things that were going on in the world.
