Me : So yeah, I think a party would be fun tonight

Ali: awesum!!! wear somethin with light colors! itz a NEON PAR-TAY!

Me: Cool I enjoy those kinds of parties.

I mean, if I had ever been to one, I'm sure I'd love them.

Ali: yay!! meet me at the bottom floor @6

I smiled and agreed that that was a good time. Then I went off to find a light sweater.

I went with a light red one, mostly because red is my favorite color. I also considered wearing contacts instead my thick-square rimmed glass, because I wanted to look my best; but I also wanted to see... and contacts hurt like a mother...

I tried calling Merlynn, a few times actually. But she wouldn't pick up, and I couldn't help but worry about her.

But there wasn't any time to go find her.

I had a party to get to.

                                                    ♨♨♨♨♨

Apparently clothing isn't much of a priority at campus party.

Girls walked around in nothing but their underwear, some with less; and their bodies were painted with bright colors that made them glow in the dark--the sun was beginning set and darkness was rolling in.

A random student pushed up my sweater sleeves and put three glowing bracelets around each of my arms; and then a glowing necklace as well.

Ali had been taken by her friends, so I was alone, weaving through sweaty and naked adults as they danced to Animal.

The party wasn't in a dorm, there was no way the university had one big enough to fit all these people. instead it was held outside,  in the center of the school; usually where students came to eat or study. So men and women were dancing on tables, splashing in the the fountain, and rolling around the grass.

"Here! Have some!" A younger student, probably a freshman, handed me a red cup filled with a musky brown luquid.

Oh, how did I get myself into this...

"YO! LISTEN UP!"

The music's volume was turned down, and Wes climbed up onto a table. He tried to stand up straight, but he was very off balanced, probably drunk by now. He was only wear a pair of tight white jeans, and his chest was painted a bright orange color.

"Are you guys having a good time?!" He shouted with a smile.

Everyone cheered, and one guy's only response was puking in a trashcan.

"I'd just like to thank the Dean, my father, for giving me permission to throw this awesome party!"

More cheering. I started to make my way to the snack bar, I didn't feel like listening to Wes's speech.

I picked up a couple little square cups with jello in them, and gulped down my beer.

I am determined to have fun, I am going to enjoy this party.

"Excuse me, sorry, excuse--please don't touch me." I pushed my way through the large crowd, avoiding as much body contact as I could; but apparently dancing alone is not aloud.

And I can't even dance.

But a couple of girls dragged me onto the dance floor, despite my efforts to break free. My strength is a bit lacking in all departments.

I swayed awkwardly, and bounced a bit too. But the girls? I honestly had no idea what they were doing. One second they are spinning and giggling around in front of me, and then the next--their butts are pressed up against me.

I kept my hands to myself, I swallowed down my urges and blocked out any harmful or inappropriate thoughts that came strolling into my head.

I didn't bother trying to speak to anyone, the music was blasting and I doubt anyone was in the chatting mood.

I accepted beer after beer, gulping it down in seconds. I've never been much of a drinker, except for special occasions. Beer, in my personal opinion, is just nasty. Bitter tasting mud. I'm not a big alcohol fan either.

But everyone else was drinking, so shouldn't I?

Soon my vision began to blur. I mean, it's always blurry, but this time my glasses weren't helping. I wasn't standing straight anymore, and I was fully aware of the goofy smile plastered to my flushing red face.

"Hyrum!" Someone shouted in my ear, "Having fun?"

I gazed downwards and saw Ali dancing beside me.

"Oh, yeah." I said through slurred speech.

"Then let's dance!"

Everybody Talks was playing very loudly, and there honestly wasn't a ton of space for dancing, but Ali didn't care.

She pulled me down and closer and wrapped her arms around my neck.

I was still widely uncomfortable when it came to skin on skin contact, but all the beer I had drank had definitely screwed me up.

I shyly placed both my hands on her slim, slightly boney hips.

And we danced. Spun around, swayed, laughed and let the music control our bodies.

I knew I would enjoy a good campus party.
