III-Orion
One year later:
I was sick of this Will guy. I was sick of him went I first saw him and my sister together.
He really got on my nerves when this happened:
"Blink," he whispered like a cold chill on the back of my neck.
I looked wide eyed into that son of a has been monkeys cousin as he taunted me.
"Blink ya little weasel," he sniggered.
Don't do it, I said inside my head. You can't lose to him. Anybody but him. Don't-do-it-.
"Agh!" I cursed as I slammed my hand down on the table while blinking.
Will laughed evilly (which he does really well) and sat back in his chair beaming due to his victory.
I rubbed my eyes and glared at him saying, "alright. Let's do something I choose."
He chuckled and said, "like what?"
I got that bad boy smirk on my face as I put my elbow on the table in front of him.
"Let's arm wrestle, sunshine."
He paused, then laughed putting his boney elbow in the table while gripping my hand.
"Alright, let me warn you I have very good arm str-."
I pull his arm hard, slamming it down on the table surface.
He looked at me with an expression of shock, then it went back to his annoying normal look.
"I wasn't ready."
"Yeah right. Give it up. I beat you," I laughed.
This made me happy. He is seventeen, I am fourteen. Then again I was born with good arm strength thanks to archery. I mean, I use my bow everyday, how could I not have good arm strength. Cross that, great arm strength!
I can beat Rose at arm wrestling, and that's saying something. She carries fifty pounds of crates at her job at the diner.
The gloating moment of glory was passed onto me as Will sat there sulking with his arms crossed. Sadly, that moment ended when Rose came flying down the stairs like she did every morning.
"Come on," she said throwing my backpack. She grabbed her purse and stopped to give Will a good morning kiss.
See, he lets himself in our flat every morning since those two became a "couple". I like using quotes hoping one day they'll break up.
"Morning babe," she said nose snuggling him. He nose snuggled her back as I threw up in my mouth.
"PDA," I coughed. Rose rolled her eyes as she yelled Owens name.
I threw my backpack over my shoulder as Owen shuffled down the stairs like a zombie.
"Owen Charles Locke! Have you been reading all night?" My sister said grabbing him by the cheeks.
"Maybe," he yawned. My sister released him and handed him his backpack then giving us our sack lunches.
"Alright you two, hurry up now. Your going to be late for school," she said pushing everyone out the front door.
Will stuffed his hands in his pockets as him and Rose walked us to the corner as usual.
"Now you guys better be good at school," she said combing back our hair.
"Yes ma'am," my brother and I groaned. She kissed us on our foreheads as we parted our ways.
Will and Rose head to high school while we head to our junior high, which I have to say is the armpit of life.
