V- Rose

I wasn't quite sure what was going on. At first, I thought I had cracked from the stressful week that tolerated my nerves. Then I realized the truth. The cold, hard truth.

"What is that!" I screamed while pointing at some weird bat hybrid thing.

A bunch of these little creatures suddenly flew in from the window gnashing their frightening long fangs at us.

The little thing had bright purple eyes, pointing horns and long claws attached their ridged wings. These things had to be the size of a large dictionary.

"Stupid blood suckers!" Will cursed as he batted one away with a chair.

Owen and Orion had grabbed a baseball bat and a hammer and started bashing at the enemy.

"What are these, Will!" I screamed as one flew at my head.

He swatted it away and said, "these things are known as the mosquitos of the Magic Realm. They suck the magic out of a person. So don't let them bite you!"

That only got me extremely nervous.

Suddenly, I watched my uncle stretch his hand forth. The glass shards that covered the floor began to rise. Uncle Rogburt then gave a flick to the wrist resulting in the shards to fly around the room, stabbing into the creatures.

I watched in horror as everything played out. Only then, I was snapped out of my trance when I felt a pain surge up my leg.

Screaming, I grabbed my leg to find one of the creatures fangs sticking out.

"Rose!" Will said bending down to my leg. "This might hurt."

I shut my eyes as he pulled out the tooth. Blood oozed down the back of my knee making me light headed.

Balancing against the wall, Will pulled a strip of gauze from under his sleeve. It was almost like it appeared just then. Quickly, he wrapped my leg then stood up while putting his arm around me.

My uncle was killing hundreds of the little beasts with just the motion of his hand.

When all the monsters ether died or fled we stood in our destroyed house in silence.

"So magic," Owen started. "Real? Nay or yay?"

"Ah!" I yelled again touch my thigh again.

"Rose," uncle Rogburt said rolled over to me. He peaked under the bandaged at the wound then said, "it isn't a large bite. Only a small amount of your magic was sucked out. You'll regain it in due time."

The front door was slowly opened as a man I only had seen a couple of times appeared.

"Uh, hello? I heard a noise-."

"Just come in," Will groaned.

Wills uncle, Caesar, entered the Flat and gawked at the mess.

"What happened- Will...," he glared at Will.

"I didn't do it!" Will growled while throwing his hands up. "They did it! Their Magicians!"

Caesar paused when he saw uncle starring at him suspiciously.

"Well," my uncle said turning his attention away from Caesar. "Looks like I have some explaining to do."

"Please, come to our Flat. You can explain there. This place is a bit, messy at the moment," Wills uncle stuttered.

"Thank you," Uncle Rogburt replied as Orion and Owen carried his ramp to the front door steps.

Will lifted me up and carried me across the street while following everyone else.
