Chapter 17

Alishia's p.o.v

We have now been sitting in one of our living rooms for HOURS and not a sound has come from the conference room. I have taken off my heels and been curled up in Jacob's lap for too many hours. The only real entertainment have been watching Clarissa and Chris fight over the remote, in that scenario it really shows that they are siblings. I been sleeping every now and then and I think Jacob's legs have fallen asleep. After our lifetime of waiting a maid finally came.

"Could the royal children please follow me"

"You can wait in my room Jacob, I'll be right back" I gave him a quick kiss before I waved bye to him.

I, Clarissa and Chris followed the maid through the corridors I have many times ran through and eavesdropped dad's meetings, not that I understood everything or anything. I remember that my guards had to come fetch me. I smiled at the memory. From running through these corridors having fun to walking through them waiting for how my future is going to be decided.

The maid opened the conference room's door and let us in. I've only been inside a couple of times but never seen it when people where here.

"Sit down, please" dad gestured towards 3 chairs with our names on them.

We sat down and my hand sweat decided to tag along too.

"I and the elders have discussed the topic about the royal children marrying whom ever they desire and have come up with and answer and conclusion. We have decided that we will allow the royal children to marry whom ever they want IF they get married before they are 30 years of age. Dating will also be allowed"

Wait. What? I can marry who ever I want? That means that I doesn't have to marry Eric! And that I can marry Jacob!
I began jumping in my seat of excitement.

"Everybody are dismissed, except my daughter, Alishia" everyone began standing up after what dad said.

Why would he want to talk to me? Alone? Is he going to tell me that the royal children that are now is going to be allowed? No then he would have kept Clarissa and Chris too.

"Alishia?"

"Yes" dad sat now crouched down in front of me and took my hands in his.

"I just want to say I'm sorry"

"What?"

"I'm sorry for being to harsh on you and forcing you to be with Eric when he certainly not was someone worthy you. But I think I know someone who is worthy you. Someone who I know treats you right and it's someone you really like. Your mother told me about Jacob and how happy you are with him. I guess I'm just trying to say I'm sorry for trying to tear you two apart even though I didn't know about him. I don't know what I was doing"

"It's okay, all that really matters is that you changed your mind and are okay with that Jacob is my boyfriend"

"It is. Now go find him and tell him the news" dad smiled at me and kissed my forehead.

I literary ran out of the conference room. I ran though the corridors, one by one, to get to my room. When I was at my room I swung the door open and jumped onto Jacob who was sleeping, kissing him all over his face.

"Wha-, uh, wha-, baby? What is it?"

"Guess who is yours only now" my smile grew even wider.

"Oh, fuck yeah, baby!" he picked me up and spun me around.

I must have laughed loud enough for the whole castle to hear.

"You don't understand how happy I am!" he kissed me hard on my lips still twirling me around.
