Introducing Life

*Piper's Pov*

Alex and I knew that we wanted to be together after our time here.

We've done it before, but we really were committed and wanted to try it again.

But the sad truth, I get out in 3 months. Alex has 4 years.

I started to worry. Of course I'd wait. But, I don't know how our relationship would be after.

I called my mom. She knows all the best lawyers.

"Mommy? Could you help me out? Come by tomorrow for visitation. " i said.

It was 5 am, the next morning.

I woke Alex up and we headed to the showers.

"Whats all the rush? Nothings going on today. No work... no anything. " Alex said still half asleep.

"That's where you're wrong. It's visitation. Your lawyer and my mother are coming  today. " I said.

"Wait, are you serious?  For what?" A confused Alex asked.

I told  her that we could possibly get her time reduced.

She looked at me, she was speechless. We got done with our showers and got ready.

We still had time before they came. I could tell Alex was nervous and tried to calm her down.

Visiting hours began, and we made our way.

We saw my mom and Alex's lawyer.

"Miss. Vause. I looked over your case again, and I think I know how I can get your sentence reduced." Alex's lawyer said.

"We need you to gave the names of the higher ups. The mules don't interest the judge." He said.

Alex took a deep breath. I put my hand on her arm.

"Higher ups? What if I give out importers names?" She asked.

I looked into her beautiful green eyes. "Al, tell him. You'll be protected. " I said.

"Kubra." She spit out.

She went into more detail,  and the lawyer said he'd do what he could.

I made small talk with my mom about my family and everything going on.

My mom looked at both of us. "Girls, when you get out of here, I  want to give you guys some money to spend. You two need your own space, a place to be free."

Alex and I were shocked. We couldn't believe it.

"Carol, thank you so much!" Alex said.

My mom and Alex's lawyer left shortly after. Alex was to call her lawyer at 7, to hear about her trial.

We headed back to our bunk. Things are slowly getting better.

"I love you."

"I love you too"

We spoke in silence until 7.

"I'll be back soon babe" Alex said as she headed to the phones.

"Ah, Alex so glad you called. Now, brace yourself. I spoke to the judge. He is willing to have your case reopened, but he needs more than Kubras name. The whole ring. "

Alex came back to me, her face was puzzled.

"I have to give the whole ring..."
