Live and Let Learn (Part 5)

*Piper's Pov*

Alex got down on one knee and took my hands.

"Piper... In the 10 almost 11 years, that I've known you...I have fallen madly in love. You know me. I know you. We've been through so much together. I fell in love... I hope you did too. I cant envision life without you...so with this being said, will you do me the honor and become my wife?" Alex said as she reached into  her leather jacket and pulled out a ring.

"Oh my god... Alex of course!" I said running into her arms and kissing her.

She put the ring on my finger. "Does it fit okay?" She asked.

I nodded and hugged her again. She is one hell of a girl.

Lorna was squeling with excitement. I couldn't believe it. I was starting something new.

Alex unlocked the door to her mothers former house.

It was untouched. No one has been in  here since her mother's passing.

"You sure you'll be okay in here? " i asked Alex.

"Yes. I'll be fine." Alex said while entering the kitchen.

My phone began to ring. It was Nicky.

"Chapman. I need you to look into that lawyer. I gotta get out. Now." She said.

"Wait Nicky what?what's going on? Are you okay? "

"Yes. Just...... get me out. Please." She begged.

"Okay, I'll work on it. Guess what!"

"Oh god. What?"

"Vause and I are engaged!" I said.

"Congrats." Then she hung up.

It was good hearing from Nicky.

Alex trailed off upstairs. I followed and saw her laying on her moms bed...

"Al?"

She was crying.

Crying so hard.

Like a bad memory was in her head..

She couldn't stop crying...
