Fess Up

*Alex"s Pov*

"The whole ring?" Piper asked.

My lawyer said that in order  for  my sentence to be reduced, I have to give the entire ring up.

I wasn't sure I could do it. I would be so terrified by the time I got out.

"Are you gonna do it?" Piper asked me.

I just looked at her. "I don't know. Should I?"

"You could be with me sooner. You wouldn't have to worry about Kubra trying to pull you back in." Piper said.

"Yeah, but what if they don't go to jail? I would be screwed. Yes, I want to be with you. But I don't know if i want to risk my life."

We sat and talked about it until we fell asleep.

I woke Piper up for our shower at the usual 5 o'clock.

"I'm gonna do it. I'm calling my lawyer. I'm telling him the truth."

Piper looked at me surprised.

"Al, I'm so proud of you." Piper said surprised.

After our shower I called my lawyer.

"Okay. I'll tell you. "

I told him everyone's name and what happened.

"Miss. Vause, you and miss. Chapman are going to need to have the trial." He told me.

I hung up and told Piper that we have a trial comming up.

"So we could be called at any minute? And walk that same day? And Kubra would be locked up?" Piper asked.

"Well, you could walk that same day. I might have to stay for a month or 2 after." I said.

We just hugged each other. It was the best news.

Nicky came walking to us with tears in her eyes.

"Nichols, what's wrong?" I asked.

"Lorna.. she she she got out..." she said.

I looked at Piper. Our jaws dropped.

"Do you know why?" Piper asked.

"Apparently the judge reopened her case..."

We all were in such shock.

I guess it really was time to fess up.
