Lunar really didn't have a plan. I mean, Luna didn't either but the fact that they were both rushing in unprepared scared everyone. They were currently in O'khasis visiting the Ro'meave household.
"WHAT!!" Luna was on the phone with Zianna, who was currently at Starlight Wonderland. "You can't be serious! How?!" At this point Luna was shouting into the phone.
"Luna, calm down." Luna glared at Lunar.
"Okay Sapphire." She said with an eyeroll. "Zianna, we'll be there as soon as we can." Luna paused. "Yes, yes. We'll bring the squad." She paused again. "We'll be careful. Bye." Luna sighed, "Looks like we're going to Starlight. Lunar get the gang, I'll get our stuff ready."
(Luna's POV)
'Oh Luna, please hurry, we need you.' It was Zane.
'Don't worry. I'm coming.' I responded.
Mindlinking was always pretty hard for Zane so I was shocked that he was able to make the connection from so far away.
(Zane's POV)
HOLY SH-. I almost fell off the arm of the couch I was sitting on.
"Zuzu, what's wrong." I looked over at my mother who had just gotten off the phone and now had a worried expression on her face.
I sighed, "Nothing mom. Just thought I heard something."
She shot me another concerned look before going back to what she was doing.
(Luna's POV)
About an hour later I had stocked all of our weapons in a pocket dimension. Just as I drew my hand back out of the tear in space time I heard a knock at the door. Lunar and I shared an apartment together so it couldn't be her. My heart fluttered at the thought of who it might be. I did have a boyfriend. I rushed to the door and opened it slowly, not wanting to show my excitement.
"Hey babe. I got you a gift."
I blushed. Laurence was a huge flirt when he was given the chance. "Oh really. For what occasion?"
He smiled. "You getting the week off from work."
My blush faded and I stopped smiling, "About that..." His smile faded as well and I continued, "I got a distress call that needs answered. Actually the whole gang is going."
He grabbed my hand gently, "Let me come with you guys." He pleaded with me. "It'll be my first mission."
I sighed. While he is very well trained, he didn't know the ultima secret. I weighed the pros and cons in my head and finally gave in. "Fine, but there are a few things that you need to know before you can come. If Lunar and the others get here before the end of the first part, you aren't coming."
Laurence smiled, walking in and sitting in the couch. "That works for me."
I shut the door and locked it, putting a magical barrier around it that I knew only Lunar and I could sense and break. Laurence saw this and shot me a curious look as I turned to face him.
I took in a deep breath, "Have you ever heard the story of the ultima werewolf?"
