After the two of us calmed down I smirked at him. He took a couple steps closer and wrapped his arms around my waist. I noticed the tiniest movement of him flicking his eyes down to my lips and back up to look me in the eyes. I rolled my eyes, chuckling a bit under my breath, and closed the distance between us. My hands rested softly on his chest as my eyes flickered shut. It wasn't our first kiss, we'd been seeing each other for months at this point, but it was still magical. It was like lightning struck everytime we were together. We slowly pulled away, my eyes slowly opening to see Laurence smirking at me. I rolled my eyes again. Then someone cleared their throat. I jumped slightly and looked over to see Garroth standing by the door to Hyria's cottage. I felt myself go bright red.
He leaned on the door and narrowed his eyes at Laurence, "Break her heart and I won't hesitate to break your face."
Laurence faked panic, "Not my beautiful face!" We both chuckled. "In all seriousness, I don't plan to. And good luck beating Lunar to that."
I looked at Laurence in shock, "Wait, Lunar knows? And threatened you?"
He nodded, "Yeah, I thought you told her."
I shook my head. "I never told her. I was afraid it'd get back to Shad if I told anyone." I shook the thoughts out of my head. "Anyway, where's Hyria?"
"Right here." She by the left side of her house, the side where her stables were.
I smiled, "Is Midnight-?"
She interrupted me, "She's in the stables. You'll need to saddle her up but other than that she's ready to go." The boys gave her a look. "What? I knew Luna would want to leave tonight."
Laurence gave me a look. "I'm not tired and I want to catch up with my mom. Stay here and catch up with Garroth and Lord Aphmau." I smiled lightly at him and turned to Garroth. "Tomorrow, as soon as you're ready meet me in O'khasis. I'll make sure they know you guys are coming and to let you in. From there we can go to the Phoenix Alliance Island."
He nodded and left, Laurence looked like he wanted to argue. "Luna, at the least let me come."
I smiled at him, "Laurence, how many times have you guys had to sneak into O'khasis?"
"Point taken." He said with a grim look of his face.
I chuckled, "Before I even had to make it. But in all seriousness I can only go to the gates alone or they won't let me in." I cupped his cheek with my hand. "I'll see you tomorrow."
I placed a kiss on his lips and went to go saddle Midnight. I heard the door close, presumably behind Laurence as I walked over to where Hyria was.
I turned to Hyria, "Hey, I wanted to ask, when all of this is over could me and Laurence build a little cabin by the lake?"
Hyria smiled, "Of course, just-"
"Don't disrupt the trees." We finish together.
Hyria chuckled lightly and went back into the cottage. I continued my way towards the stables. It wasn't large, just large enough to accommodate for two horses. I saw Midnight in the right most stable. The other one was currently empty, mainly because that was for any guests that came on horseback. It was rare but not unheard of for old friends of Hyria's to randomly pop in. I grabbed the black saddle with yellow threaded accents off the wall and got to work.
~Timeskip cause Zander has no clue how to saddle a horse~
Grabbing my riding cloak, I lead Midnight out and in front of the house. Quickly mounting her I started in the direction of O'khasis, the sound of chatter and laughter behind me. I knew my way out of the forrest and it didn't take long for me to reach the path that leads to O'khasis. I slowed Midnight down to a trot as I approached the gates to O'khasis.

Can you tell I haven't had my first kiss yet? ✨We stan everyone using you and not actually liking you✨
