Here's where things start to get kinda OP in terms of Luna's powers and this completely deviates from where the story actually went but remember, this story is over a year old and if I tried to completely rewrite it, it'd take me about a month since a certain event influences other events later. If you don't like it, don't read it.
Everyone stared at me in shock.
Laurence however smiled and answered their shocked looks, "Looks like we have a goddess on our side."
I shook my head, causing Laurence to look at me in surprise, "That was her farewell Laurence. Irene is no longer watching over this world."
As I said this, however, a breeze swept through the room. A warmth spread through my body as I felt more energy than I ever had before. My eyes-widened in realisation. Irene was giving me her powers. I looked around and what I saw shocked me. Laurence was covered in a white and green light and Aphmau was covered in a white and purple light.
Before I could even think, I heard Lunar's voice in my head. 'Luna what the hell is going on?!?!'
I laughed. 'Irene faded but is giving us her powers. As well as Laurence and Aph.'
She paused, probably still taking everything in. 'I'm still gonna stay here. I sent the others on boats to get more civilians off. Do what you can, we'll be okay over here.'
The connection broke and I looked around. The light had faded and the others were wondering what was going on.
Thankfully, Laurence saved me from explaining, "Irene."
That's all he had to say.
Lucinda was trying to wrap her head around the whole thing. "So wait. Our spell did nothing?"
I looked at her with a stern look on my face, "Your spell couldn't even resurrect a still living cockroach. It wasn't a necromancy spell and if it was I would have had to report you."
Aphmau was confused, "Who are you, what's going on, and Laurence?"
Laurence responded first, "Hey."
I answered the rest. "My name is Luna. And quite honestly I don't know what's going on."
Zane looked at me kinda surprised, "Wait what?"
I looked at him. "My employer is dead and the last thing I heard from him was about Garroth and getting a week off of work."
Laurence looked at me in surprise, "What about Garroth?"
My eyes widened, "Oh, right. You haven't been briefed. Garroth was turned by method of Aaron's eyes. He's still alive I assume."
I looked to Zane, who nodded, confirming my suspicion.
Aph held her hand up cause us to stop, "Wait. Laurence why are you here?"
Laurence looked to me to answer, "Laurence has been... studying... under me. He probably knows a lot more about you and your family than you do."
She looked at us in surprise, "Like what?"
Me and Laurence looked at each other and smirked.
We took turns, me going first. "Well, your parents are Sylvanna and Zak."
"And Zak left after your mother found out that he had a son."
"Around your age, with another woman."
"Your mother kept this information from you hoping that you would never meet either."
"Which kinda backfired since you knew your brother back in highschool,"
"And your father is on the island."
Aphmau stared at the both of us.
Zane smirked and mindlinked me, 'Proud to call you my sister.'
I smiled at him.
Aph caught us in our silent conversation and asked, "Are you two like a thing? Cause if so I might need to have a word with you Zane."
We looked at each other and burst out laughing. Laurence chuckled a bit knowing my relationship with Zane. I laughed so hard that tears started forming in my eyes.
After about a minute our laughter calmed down and I wiped the tears from my eyes and spoke. "Oh Irene no! He's my brother."
