I'M ALIVE I SWEAR!  Sooooo sorry for not updating since April. I had to uninstall the app and completely forgot about the story. I'll update more later but for now have this chapter.

Our heads snapped towards Lucinda's voice and found that she was facing an extremely angry Katelyn.
I ran over, "Kasey, Katherine! It's time."
I shot a blast of magic at Katelyn to temporarily stun her. Kasey ran out in front of me and hugged Katelyn. I shot another blast of magic to disarm her. The sword was knocked from her hand and I saw Kasey whispering something to her. Her eyes started flickering and lingered on blue before going right back to green. Katherine must've also seen this, cause she ran over and hugged Katelyn. I noticed her talking to Katelyn, but I couldn't hear what she was saying. Zane and Garroth came up behind me and I sense that they both intended on going over to her.
I held my arms out to block them, "Don't."
I never took my eyes off of Katelyn. She was currently too dangerous and I wasn't losing any more family. I could no longer see Katelyn's eyes but I was hoping that her posture would be an in indication on her state. She was stiff, most likely still under the control. Garroth started to move forward, pushing against my hand. I held him back with magic.
Zane sensed this and went to Garroth 'Luna. What are you doing?'
I sighed, 'Protecting you guys. There's nothing you two can do about Katelyn and I'm not losing more family on this trip.'
I felt that he disapproved of my choice but he started talking to Garroth.
Katelyn seemed to relax a bit and wrapped her arms around the two. I mindlinked Katherine, 'Check her eyes.'
I noticed her slightly pull away and wipe tears from Katelyn's eyes, 'They're blue.'
I smiled and released my magic. I started to walk other. Katelyn saw me coming and started to get in a defensive stance. I smiled at her and raised my hands, showing her that I'm not a threat.
Kasey noticed me and ran over, hugging me tightly. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." He repeated over and over.
I smiled, "This was all you and your sister." I felt my shirt get wet so I pushed him away and wiped away his tears. "You're a nerd. You know that, right?" He laughed and I noticed Katherine and Katelyn walking over. I gently nudged him in their direction, "Take your brother back. I don't want him and his waterworks."
Katherine and Kasey laughed but Katelyn looked skeptical, "Who are you?"
I smiled, "Well, my name is Luna Ro'meave."
She narrowed her eyes, "Who are you really?"
I laughed at this, "Well, I'm a 19-year-old girl who has no clue what she's doing with her life, is dating the man of her dreams, just told one of her brothers that she exists and am currently doing Irene only knows in another universe."
Zane laughed at that but Katelyn looked confused, "So, are you really a Ro'meave? How come we've never heard of you?"
I sighed, "A choice made by my parents. Zane was the only one to know that our mom was even pregnant with me. Garroth was kinda strictly forbidden from ever finding out about me."
Garroth started glaring at the ground, "I still don't understand why."
I smiled sadly at him, "After all of this is over I will gladly explain everything to everyone who wants to know."
After I finished that statement I heard a voice, 'Babe, we need backup in here. Too many guards. Aph is with Aaron but he isn't back yet.'
I yelped at the sudden noise, "That boy is going to kill me." Kasey wiggled his eyebrows at me and I flipped him off before responding. 'Thanks for the scare. I'll be there in a minute. Use magic, you should have heightened energy.'
Katelyn looked even more confused as I snapped my fingers and was in shadow knight armor.
I rushed through my explanation, "Laurence needs me. Get to the roof. I can protect you while you go through the building but Zane, mindlink me when you guys no longer need it. I really don't want to wear myself out."
I didn't wait for a response. I cast a protection over them and ran to go help Laurence. I booked it through the building. I had studied this place so I knew exactly where to go. I heard some people following behind me, probably the others. I double checked my knives to make sure I had them all as I burst into the main area.
I saw Zak panicking and ran over, "Zak. There should be people behind me. Friends of mine. Get them to the roof."
He nodded and I looked around for Laurence. I saw him being cornered and about to fall off the platform. My wings shot out and I flew over, grabbing Laurence by the waist and bringing him the more stable ground. He smiled at me and I nodded my head over at the fight. He nodded. We both smiled and started fighting. Me with my knives and magic. Him with his sword.

Again, soooooo sorry this took so long to get out. I'm going to try and avoid this happening again but I make no promises. Anyway, hope you all enjoyed this really fast paced chapter.
