I ran out of the escape house-room-thing and teleported to the island, de-transforming back into the dress. I probably looked like a mess but proceeded to charge into Violet and Scarlet's shared home. They shared a space with Violet's mom who had been sent to this island after 'dying' years prior. Violet's mom jumped as the door slammed open. Seeing that they weren't in the space I ran out to the middle of the small village we had going and rang the bell. Quickly people started tripping out of their houses to get over to the clearing. Everyone knew what the bell meant. Something's wrong.
I scanned the crowd forming, "Now's the time to give any information you have over. Where are Scarlet and Violet?"
A few heads bowed but Carter stepped forward, "Luna, it's great to see you again." I glared and he gulped. "They left via boat. They had everything of theirs and wouldn't tell us where they were going. We assumed they'd be back by morning so we didn't tell anyone until they didn't show back up in the morning."
I softened my gaze. "Did they leave anything to track them by?"
He shook his head. I looked to everyone else and they all shook their heads. Of course. Lunar wouldn't have told me anything if there was a simple solution.
I sighed, "Alright, everyone stay here. Zak, I need you to search... there. Me and Lunar are going to search Ru'an." He nodded and I teleported back to the Nether glaring hard. "Zenix. I need a favor. Organize an undercover mission to go into the... training area. I have two missing kids and I'm not chancing it." He nodded and started to run to the base. "Alright Lunar, you take Phoenix Drop, I'll take Enki Island."
She nodded and teleported off. I was about to when I felt a hand grab my arm.
"Luna wait!" Laurence.
I sighed, "Laurence, I don't want to do this right now. Two of my kids are missing and they made it impossible to track them. I understand if you want to fight and argue but do it another time."
He looked annoyed, "Luna that's not-"
"We'll help you." Lucinda cut him off.
I raised an eyebrow. "You want to help? Start searching the mainland of Ru'an. You're looking for a werewolf and a white haired girl. The werewolf has blue-grey heterochromia. The white haired girl has two streaks of purple in her hair. Violet is the white haired, Scar or Scarlet is the werewolf. If you find them contact me or Lunar immediately."
They nodded and I summoned the Nether portal to take them to Phoenix Drop. Laurence remained by me. I glared.
He glared back, "I'm going with you."
I sighed. "Grab on."
I held my arm out. The moment he grabbed on I teleported us to Enki Island, not too far from the village.
I pointed in the direction of the village, "Go ask anyone if any new people have come in recently. Tell them we're missing two kids."
He nodded and ran off in that direction. At least he could follow orders. I sighed and brought my wings out. It was an open back dress so this didn't tear the fabric. I took off into the sky. I flew around and looked for boats on the shore of the island. There were no boats that weren't near the village. I flew down into the village and saw Laurence talking to someone that looked like a Lord. I walked over and saw Laurence sigh.
He thanked the man and turned to me, "No one matching their description have ever been here."
I sighed, turning to the man. "Thank you anyways, if they do show up please send a letter by bird to O'khasis addressed to Luna Ro'meave."
He nodded and turned to leave I held my arm out for Laurence once more. He took it and I teleported us to Phoenix Drop.
Lunar ran over, spotting us immediately. "No luck?"
I shook my head, "No boat and they said no one's been there. I told him to send a letter if they did show up."
She nodded. "Fly around and meet each other halfway?"
I sighed, "That's probably a good idea."
Laurence looked between us, "I'm sorry what?"
We both looked at him, me speaking up. "We are going to fly around the shores of Ru'an looking for the boat they used before meeting up halfway and coming back here."
His eyes went wide, "Not to doubt your guys abilities but that's not humanly possible."
Lunar smirked, "Since when have we been humans?"
Alina ran up to me and hugged my leg. "Can I help?"
I smiled, getting an idea and leaning down, "Of course little one, I want you to try something." I was vaguely aware of Aphmau and Lucinda walking towards us as I held my hand out for Alina to take. "Close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Imagine a magical instrument to take you to someone you can't find."
Aphmau stepped forward, "I don't know if this is a good idea Luna..."
I held up a hand to stop her, "You got it in your mind?" She nodded. "Alright now will it into existence between our hands. You should feel a rush through your body. Use that and use mine as well."
She smiled and I closed my eyes and focused my energy. There was a very slim chance that this would work. She would probably be able to manifest this but it most likely wouldn't work. Slowly but surely something metal started forming in my hand. I opened my eyes and she took her hand out of mine. The object looked slightly like a compass. It was a black metal that I recognized as Netherite. The arrow in the middle was a pinkish purple squiggly line.
She looked up at me, "Did I do good?"
I smiled at her, "Yeah sweetie. This will help us so much. Thank you so much!!"
She giggled and rushed off to her mom who stood there shocked. I however turned to Laurence, giving him the compass and silently telling him to follow where the arrow lead. I looked to Lunar and nodded, telling her that our plan was still a-go. Laurence ran off to find where the arrow led. Me and Lunar were about to take off when a voice froze us in place.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Ha, another cliffhanger! Doesn't matter because by the time you guys are probably reading this the next MCD chapter will probably be posted.
