Alright so I'm not fucking explaining everything for like the third time. So we are skipping until after breakfast and after everything surrounding Luna was explained. Got it? Good.

We all sat around the table, finishing up the meal, laughing, and talking. That was, of course, before my mom ruined it.
"So Lulu and GarGar. You two need to discuss some things." She said, taking a sip of water.
I groaned, "Can we not do this right now?"
Garroth just looked confused while Vylad was trying to suppress his laughter, "I don't know Luna. I think this should be talked about right now."
I shot him a glare, "Vylad, I swear to Irene..."
Laurence, who really didn't know what was going on but giggled anyway, spoke up. "Boi, you better start running."
I smiled and rose to my feet, causing Vylad to trip over himself to get out of his seat and run. I quickly chased after him, picking up my dress. I was wearing platforms so it wasn't hard to catch up to him. He had almost made it up the stairs when I tackled him. We both fell to the floor laughing. At some point I got off of him and pulled him to his feet. Everyone had come out of the dinning hall to see what had happened, most being surprised that I was the victor. Laurence and my mom just looked proud. Still laughing, we decided to head upstairs to the study. It was on the third floor and had previously been used for Zane's purposes. We all sat around just casually talking until mom tried the subject again.
"Luna?" My head shot to her. "You know you can't avoid it forever."
I sighed, rubbing my temples. "I can try..."
Garroth looked to me, confused and curious. "Luna, what's going on?"
I took a breath, "Mom isn't remarrying. Which means that the three of us kids get to fight for the throne. Vylad's already said no, everyone already knows that you don't really want it, which leaves me."
Eyes went wide and Garroth nodded, "Makes sense. Will you be staying here then?"
I laughed bitterly, "No. I will be fighting in the front lines of this war. I've said it already and I'll say it again, I am not taking up any sort of Lordship until after the war."
Laurence tapped my shoulder, "May I speak to you in private?"
I nodded, "Excuse us."
I quickly pulled Laurence out of the room and to my bedroom. I closed the door after he walked in.
He took a moment to admire it before turning to me. "You should stay."
My eyes shot wide. "I'm sorry, what?"
He gently grabbed one of my hands, "Stay here. You've been through enough. Lead these people and change the world." I narrowed my eyes but he continued before I could say anything. "Settle down with someone. Start a family-"
I kissed him harshly to shut him up, thinking that it might be the last time I am able to. "Do NOT tell me to settle down and start a family Laurence." He looked shocked as I continued. "I am staying with you no matter what Laurence. I made a promise and I intend on keeping it. As for staying here, you know I can't nor do I want to. You can't fight Shad alone and training can only do so much. I've been through a lot, yes, but I'm going to finish what I started. I love you Laurence, however, I am not going to do whatever you tell me. We are in this together. I can understand not wanting to be with me and I wouldn't blame you for breaking up with me. But this is my fight as much as it is yours."
He didn't respond and just lowered him head. I called over Luka and told her to take Laurence back up to the study. I told her to tell them I was going on a walk to clear my head. I rushed out of the castle and got Lunar's horse, Twilight, from the stables. Twilight knew both of us and had no problem letting me ride her. I grabbed the dark purple riding cloak from the rack and jumped on Twilight. I rode her to the gates, the people in the streets making way but ignoring me. I told the guards to open the gate and rode off into the distance. I didn't know where I was going, just that I needed to get far away from here. I loved Laurence with my heart and soul but I was apparently wrong about him fully returning those feelings. I can't believe I tricked myself like that. The people of O'khasis would never accept a single female leader. I'd have to marry in order to be the Lord. A title I didn't want anyway. Maybe I should have stayed in the Nether... I sighed and rode Twilight back to O'khasis, letting the guards take her in before turning and heading towards the forest. When I was out of sight I summoned the Nether portal to lead me to the Rebellion Headquarters. Once in the Nether, I transformed and headed to a small base me and Zenix set up for if I ever needed space. I have no doubt he saw me heading there. I collapsed on the bed that was there and cried.

It's been what, three MCD chapters without angst? Hehe, I can't help myself.
