At lunch, I can barely walk down the hall to the cafeteria. Girls are appearing like spider monkeys all over the place trying to trip me or shove me, or both if they felt extra angry. I resort to going outside instead but not before completing an entire obstacle course. Once I do finally reach the safety of the outdoors, I notice Jb standing near the gates.

"Jb!" I say walking up to him.

He looks over. "Oh hey, Kito. What was with the class?"

"Ah, you noticed?" I say.

"It's hard not to when I can actually hear the death sentences directed at you."

"You actually heard them!?"

Jb shakes his head. "Nah. But I do have a lot of written messages of it..."

He pulls a small stack of notes from both his pockets.

"I thought it would be best not to pass it to you."

That's a lot of notes. And I doubt any of them end with a smiley face or a hand-drawn heart. Maybe a smiling skull at best.

"What are you doing out here, anyways?" I ask, realizing.

"Waiting for Suyeon," Jb says looking away.

I grin. "Oh?"

"She said she wanted to bring me lunch so we could eat together..."

"Well, isn't that just sweet!" I say walking up to Jb. I pinch both of his cheeks. "I hope you grow big and tall!"

He grabs onto my ears and pulls outward. "And I hope you stay short and fat!"

"Let go," I tell him.

"You first."

We stare at each other for a moment before both letting go at the same time.

"So, how are you two doing?" I say, massaging my poor ears.

Jb shrugs. "I don't know. She's cool, I guess."

"Jaebeom," I say having suspicion of what's coming next.

"But I don't know if I really like her or not. I think I'll end it today."

And there's classic Jb.

"Why!"

"Just not feeling it."

I throw my arms in the air. "Jb! Open your eyes! Suyeon seems really cool! And she made you lunch. People don't just go around doing things like making lunch or coming to your school for no reason!"

"But you give me food all the time too."

"I give you all the recipes that don't work out. You just eat them anyways because you like food. She's actually made food meant to be eaten!"

Jb blinks. "Wait, you give me what?"

"Plus, she's beautiful!" I quickly add. "I mean, seriously. She's a model. But she also eats like a real person! And plays basketball! You should give her a chance."

"Fine."

"Besides," I say sighing, "You guys are Subeom."

"What?"

"Nothing!"

"So what's up with you and the pretty boy?" Jb asks.

"Jimin is really angry at me."

Jb doesn't hide his huge grin. "Aw, really?"

"I'm leaving," I say.

"And I wanted to do a Jimin roast," Jb says to my back. "It would have been fun!"

I raise my hand and wave him off.

"I would have burnt him to a crisp! You would have loved it!"

I step into the cafeteria, being as inconspicuous as possible...

"Don't worry, Jimin," a girl sitting next to him says. "We'll make sure Nikito doesn't bother you."

"JIMIN!"

I pop out from underneath the table and take a seat across from him.

The girls around me are in such a state of shock they don't speak for a moment.

Yeah, baby. Incognito lessons.

Worth every penny.

"How did you?" the girl next to me splutters.

I hold my hand up to her face signaling her to shut up.

"Jimin, just hear me out."

The same girl tries again. "You! You need to leav—"

I turn to her. I hold my hand up and point to it. "This means you need to hush. Don't talk."

The girl is speechless.

"Jimin," I say turning back to him.

He's looking down at his food, refusing to raise his head.

"Look," I say, "I'm really sorry about the whole thing. It was bad judgment on my part..."

"Leave him alone, Nikito!" I suddenly hear from behind.

I turn around and I see a pudding cup hurling at me.

DUCK! Duck, Kito, duck!

I still expect the pudding to hit my face. Instead though, I hear girls scream.

Opening my eyes, I realize something...

I...actually ducked.

YES!

I hear the sound of an empty plastic cup fall to the tray.

Sitting back up, I realize something else...

I...shouldn't have ducked.

Jimin is covered in chocolate pudding and the girls are scrambling around him trying to clean him up.

"Kito..." he whispers.

"I should probably go," I say, nodding.

I stand up slowly, making sure not to spook the antelope, and then run away.
