A new fact about Jimin...

Jimin's anger is like wine. The anger doesn't diminish. It only gets "better".

This morning I find that my desk has been moved to the opposite corner of the classroom. No doubt performed by the ants that hover him. And any attempt from me to approach him has been successfully road-blocked off.

I'm not kidding.

There's caution tape pulled all around my relocated desk, taped to the bookshelves and neighboring desks so that it forms a nice little yellow square.

One of the fan girls' Dads works in law enforcement.

"Wow."

I turn around and Jb is admiring the work.

"You definitely lead a very different life, Kito."

"Shut up."

"I just wanted to let know that Suyeon and I are going to start officially dating..."

I jump out of my desk. "Really? That's great!"

Jb shrugs, but he smiles. "Yep. All thanks to the amazing Nikito."

"You bet I am."

"This wouldn't be one of those moments, though," Jb says pointing to the tape.

"Just go to your desk."

Minutes later, Abna comes striding into the room with a huge smile.

"KITO!" she says, then her face drops seeing my new digs. "Kito?"

"You were wrong about Jimin getting over it," I say. "Something tells me he's still mad."

"But he wouldn't do this."

"I know, but his little minions wou—"

"TONY AND I ARE BACK TOGETHER!"

I smile. "Yay!"

"I realized what you said made a lot of sense," Abna says.

Oh yes. That cooking analogy. If people ask...it was all me.

"But you just haven't applied it to yourself yet."

"Hey, I'm a good cook!" I say.

Abna nods before walking away. "I know, but that's not what I'm talking about."

"Good morning..."

Mrs. Elk walks in. She immediately spots my new seating arrangement.

"Kito, what is this?"

Everyone turns around, except Jimin.

"Um..."

"You know you can't change seats without notifying me first."

In my defense, no one notified me either.

I look around, trying to find an excuse. Meanwhile I can see the girls watching me with a growing smile on their faces.

Suddenly, I spot two words on the whiteboard that's suitable for any situation.

"Extra credit!" I announce.

Mrs. Elk folds her arms. "Extra credit?"

I nod. "Y-yes!" I reach into my book bag and pull out the first book I feel. "For this!" I say holding the book up.

"The Scarlet Letter," Mrs. Elk reads aloud.

I nod and point to the book. "Yes! Um, you see, the girl in it is basically ostracized in her community. And I thought, we could recreate that feeling!"

"So you ostracized," Mrs. Elk says, examining the caution tape wound around me, "...yourself?"

I lose my voice for a second.

"Yes?" I say.

Mrs. Elk takes in a short breath. "Creative, Ms. Travis."

It worked?

"But you're not getting any extra credit. I'll allow you to stay there today, but I expect you to return to your original seating tomorrow."

I can hear some grumbling from the girls as they turn back to face front.

But I also hear something else...

A quiet chuckle.

I look over and I can see Jimin's back shaking a bit.

I sneeze.
