// Bad Roommate //

AU: An AU where Kiku and Slade don't meet until both are out of college, along with Mykie never meeting Slade either. Slade; due to having no one at all at any point, is more or less reliant on his bad vices to find comfort. Though bad vices takes up a good budget chunk. Needing half the rent paid, he puts out an advertisement for a roommate, though some darker intentions seem to lurk behind this flier, and seem to grow darker when an apparently innocent young woman moves in...

Warnings; This scenario will contain violence within the RP; while this may turn into romance at some point, the beginning of the RP will focus on what Slade could be without having ever had his friends Mykie, Eve, and Kiku.

Scenario:

Kiku Callinger had recently moved in with a young man named Slade Smith. She had recently graduated college and was working as a Waitress to make a living until she could find a stable and better paying job.

When she was looking through the job listings in the local newspaper, she ended up coming across an ad from a man looking for a roommate to help him pay half the rent on the little home he was living in.

Many new how this man was, so they didn't think to even consider the ad, but Kiku wasn't aware of this man. She was newer to that town, and rumors hadn't yet spread to her.

The girl applied for the open room, and was surprised when she was accepted almost immediately. Sharing a house with this man had to be better than living in a stuffy apartment.

The girl moved in about a week after she was accepted as his roommate.

At first, the girl didn't notice how inherently bad this man was. Though this changed when she began to notice he seemed to find love through sex; whether it was a one night stand or something else, and that he drank away quite a bit of his paycheck.

Though soon enough, she noticed this man; Slade, started to get demanding of her. He'd tell her to clean up a mess, or even help him get cleaned up when he'd wake up hung over after a night of drinking, fucking, or both. He didn't really seem to care if she was actually comfortable or not. Even when she was sneezing because he was smoking around her despite the allergies she had, he just didn't seem to care.

He got meaner each day. When the hell did she become his maid?

One day, when Kiku came home from work, she headed to the fridge to clean it out to make some room for some food she brought home from work, but an accidental slip forward, resulted in two of Slade's glass beer filled bottles shattering against the floor.

Kiku quickly went to clean them up, but she heard the thud of heavy steps behind he'd faster than she could do so much as get on her knees and start cleaning up.

Kneeled down, she paled feeling Slade's presence behind her. The broken beer bottles in plain view.

What will Slade so upon seeing the wasted beer, and Kiku kneeled down so close to the oh so sharp glass shards?
