Scenario:
Slade never met Mykie or Kiku until he was 21, as was Mykie, and Kiku was 19.
Despite the age difference not being much, Kiku's innocent behavior warded Slade off.
Kiku would try to talk to him, but he'd often just brush her off or tell her that he was waiting on her brother and didn't have time to talk.
Kiku found this disheartening because she assumed if he was her brother's friend, he could be hers too.
The two often found themselves fighting when the other ended up around them.
Though one day, a particularly bad fight resulted in Slade telling Kiku something that managed to cut deep.
"Do you really think anyone likes you? Everyone loves your brother, but can hardly stand you, we all know it. That's why he's always chosen over you."
Kiku was quick to freeze at hearing this. Though it struck deep because it was true from what she could tell.
That's when the girl looked down. The look she had was sad, but also pleasing. If Slade said anything else, she'd never tell.
Will Slade cut deeper while he has the chance to take out all his built up frustrations on someone who would never tell any of the nasty things he'd say to her?
Or will he lay off?
