Just outside of the Central Precinct –

While the main entrance was swamped with both patrol cars and news vans, no one would have suspected to secure the emergency exit.

That was what Darksun had in mind. After leaving the building with Jake in tow, the only thing Darksun was thinking of was getting as far away from downtown as possible.

'Ok so now what are we gonna do here Darksun?' asked Jake.

Darksun quickly yelled, 'just shut up and let me think! I only know that it's not safe for me up here, so we're gonna take the subway.'

They passed several pedestrians while Darksun wore his hoodie to hide his appearance, including his concealed dagger, as he pushed Jake towards the subway entrance.

However, Darksun was not expecting to be seen by a few people who had all seen the leaked video from the Cradle2Grave nightclub.

'Hey, it's Darksun, we saw the whole thing from last night, and you were badass man!' one of them shouted, completely unaware that he had just exposed Darksun to a group of three Yakuza thugs.

When the leader of these thugs saw Darksun, he shouted in Japanese, 'it's the Gaijin Shinigami, seize him!'

The thugs raised their katana and guns to scare off the civilians. With the small chaos erupting, Darksun and Jake rushed straight to the underground entrance to the subway with the Yakuza following them.

Several people ran in fear towards the exits. This gave the Yakuza plenty of space to corner the two on the waiting platform. Just as Jake was about to aim his gun to scare the thugs, Darksun intervened by telling Jake, 'I'll need you to stand back and find cover Jake, I can handle these idiots.'

Unsure about what Darksun was planning to do, Jake headed to a wall to barricade himself.

All three Yakuza enforcers attacked Darksun at the same time, thinking he would be fully outnumbered by their ranks.

Jake got worried and thought he could help, but suddenly, he stopped in his tracks when he witnessed something unexpected. As the enforcers tried to get a hold of Darksun, he slipped through their grasps and countered their maneuvers as if could anticipate their every move. It was Darksun's turn to attack, as he moved swiftly from behind one of them to jump high, kicking him in the face into unconsciousness. The remaining two were enraged at their opponent but Darksun kept blocking their attacks with cold precision. The third thug slowly woke up and was intending to re-join the fight with his fellow members.

But thinking that two were enough for Darksun to fight with, Jake stepped out from his hiding place to aim his gun at the recovering thug, 'don't even think about it punk!'

This agitated the thug to attack Jake instead; the thug drew out his semi-automatic gun and began firing it at Jake. Jake managed to avoid a lot of damage by barricading between a seat and a garbage bin. When the thug ran out of bullets he unsheathed his katana blade and impulsively swung it around for a chance to kill the police officer.

Jake stood his ground as he aimed his gun and fired most of his rounds when the thug deflected the bullets with his katana, and with one swing sliced through his gun in half.

Jake felt he was in trouble, and tried as much as he could to avoid the swordsman in his frenzied state.

Just as Darksun knocked out the other two thugs, he spotted Jake in serious trouble, 'damn it Jake!' he muttered to himself as he raced over to protect Jake.

The sword-swinging thug impulsively knocked Jake to the ground and was prepared to drive his katana into the cop's chest. But in almost pure slow motion, Darksun jumped in front of Jake and took the blade to his own heart.
