...Meanwhile...
Back at the Central Precinct, Internal Affairs had just finished a thorough investigation. They discovered about twenty-one of LAPD's finest police officers were either bribed, or were in contact with several of the criminal gangs that had attacked the precinct the previous night.

'This is one big fucking disaster! I had no idea we were this compromised,' Commissioner Burton complained after he had finished reading the finalised report from Internal Affairs.

He, Mia, Lopez and Dr. Phillips were waiting in his office for Steve to give them the heads up if Jake showed up in the city surveillance feeds.

'So, what's gonna happen now Chief?' Lopez asked.

Burton explained the obvious, 'apart from the fact that twenty-one of our best are now either in jail or dishonorably removed from duty pending trial, everything we witnessed last night has changed our very idea of what's normal. For the time being, we are only taking baby steps in this situation.'

All of a sudden, Steve entered the room and declared, 'Sir I found Jake! Surveillance feeds caught footage of Officer O'Neil and Darksun in the Little Tokyo district near a sushi bar.'

The Commissioner observed the footage himself and quickly ordered Mia, 'take Lopez and a few good officers with you to retrieve our boy and Darksun, arrest any gangster who gets in our way, am I clear?'

'You got it Chief!' Mia immediately answered.

Burton then rushed them to go when he reminded them, 'remember Detective, time is of the essence, get to Little Tokyo before the trail gets cold.'

Back in Little Tokyo...
The once peaceful district had now been turned into a new battle zone thanks to the arrival of the Lobos cartel.

The thugs fired their machine guns in the air, causing the residents to flee to their homes in fear of a mass shooting.

Darksun, Jake and Mi'ko were cornered into a small barricade of dumpsters in the alleyway near Mi'ko's workshop. The cartel thugs started firing their guns in the alleyway, which forced Mi'ko to return fire on them with her guns.

Jake then tried out the EMP gun Mi'ko lent to him, as he fired the first bullet, the casing melted away to reveal an electric spike found commonly in Taser guns. The spike hit one of the thugs and he then collapsed from a minor amount of electricity.

'Not bad huh?' Mi'ko asked a surprised Jake after firing the EMP gun for the first time.

Jake almost didn't know what to say after seeing how the gun was handled. But nonetheless he was impressed, 'I'll admit this gun worked a lot better than my old Taser.'

All of a sudden, a group of Chinese thugs appeared and began to harass the Lobos.

'Okay who the hell are these guys?' Jake quickly asked.

'That would be the Triad, and if they are here then that means there'll be trouble ahead' Darksun replied.

With the Triad fighting the Lobos, it gave Darksun, Jake and Mi'ko the chance to escape and locate a new hiding spot.

'Hey, what did Darksun mean when he said that there will be trouble?' Jake asked.

'It's simple really,' Mi'ko said, 'the Triad had been trying to claim Little Tokyo for themselves since the Yakuza were cast out. This also caught the attention of the Russian Mob, so any minute now they are going to appear as soon as any one of these guys fall.'

Jake began reloading his gun while he claimed sarcastically, 'great, it's just the three of us against three power hungry gangs. What are the chances of us getting out of this alive?'
