Inside the warehouse –
'Okay... I've never seen lightning do this before,' said a confused Tiger.Darksun and the others watched the lightning swirl and blindly flash around them as if it were dancing.
Suddenly, the lightning bolts collected themselves to form a single human shaped entity. In an instant, the lightning faded to reveal a young man dressed in what appeared to be gold armour, a half-worn toga and a pair of winged sandals. With teal coloured eyes and long spiky brunette hair, the mysterious intruder lurked around the room causing the lights to flicker on and off as if he was absorbing the electricity around him.
He then spoke in a simple manner, which none of the other people in the warehouse expected, 'greetings mortals!'
Darksun was the first to ask the strange entity, 'who the hell are you supposed to be?'
'Oh, forgive me for my poor manners, my name is Renovati, and I am the God of lightning!' the entity answered quickly.
'Is this some sort of prank on us or is he for real?' Jake asked Mi'ko.
'I think he is the real deal,' Mi'ko guessed after taking a closer look at him and noticing her mobile acting screwy, 'after the past few years I'm open minded to accept what's in front of us.'
The alleged god continued to ask multitude of questions as if he were a curious child.
'Now that I'm here on this side of the Cosmic Veil, I have so many questions to ask. Like how big is your city? And what is this obsession with your tablet-shaped contraptions..?'
Hoping to avoid listening to any more unnecessary questions, Darksun approached Renovati and told him politely, 'look those may be easy yet pathetic questions to ask, but now is not the best time to answer any of them.'
'Well, why not?!' the young god curiously asked.
Darksun explained to him bluntly, 'the truth is that a group of thugs and a witch outside this warehouse are here to capture me to sell to the mastermind behind all of this. And I'm guessing you being here asking stupid questions will not help the situation.'
'How dare you mock me!' Renovati suddenly lashed out, unable to understand the entire scenario, 'all I wanted was to understand you modern day mortals, AND THIS IS WHAT I GET?!'
The lights inside the warehouse began to glow brighter than usual, to the point where they all exploded. Any of the other functioning equipment around them similarly overloaded with power to the point of blowing a fuse.
Darksun, Jake and the others then saw electricity surge through Renovati's body, his skin turned pale as snow and his hair, ankle wings and eyes glowed in an electric blue aura.
'So... you still think this is a prank Jake?!' Mi'ko asked the shocked police officer.
'Not anymore!' he quickly answered.
The powered-up god impulsively lashed out by hurling lightning bolts at Darksun and his companions. Everyone tried to avoid the electrical attacks either by dodging them or finding shelter.
Outside was a different story altogether as Raymundo and Wiccary devised a safe way inside without being noticed. This was more imperative as one of the thugs decided to enter the front door despite the immense static electricity surrounding the warehouse. But unfortunately, as soon as the thug touched one of the metallic handles, he was electrocuted on the spot.
Back inside, Renovati continued to lash out in an electrical display. Darksun crouched behind an old machine close to Jake and Mi'ko.
'Do any of you guys have any ideas on how to stop this angry god?' Jake asked the others.
