".....S.......hi.....n..." I heard some kind of strange voice...

"...Shinguji...!" Was I just hearing things...?

"Wake up, you dummy!" I slowly opened my eyes... What, or rather... Who I saw was my dorm-mate's boyfriend, Kokichi Oma...

I slowly got up and stared at him with fatigue...

"What? Shuichi asked me to wake you up!" he smiled sneeringly... "Huh? You wanna know what I'm doing here?"

I didn't want to listen to him... He was kind of annoying, but I still liked him. Well, a little bit...

"Shuichi invited me when you already slept, so that's why you didn't know I was here, nishishi!" His way of laughing was terrible. I also have a specific laugh, but mine is not as annoying as his...

I guess, Kokichi's just not my type...

After telling me what he and Shuichi did, Kokichi went out of my room... I looked at my clock. It was nearly 7:00 am...

I dressed up, brushed my teeth and combed my hair. I placed my hand on the doorknob, but before I turned it, I overheard a conversation....

"You wanna come here again today?" I could recognise Shuichi's voice, but there was no way that Kokich is going to stay here once more...

"Sorry Shuichi, I have a project to do with Amami today!" Now, it was Kokichi talking. What a relief, he's got some work to do...
I'm kind of curious, who's the one who saved me from him... Amami? Never heard of that name...

"Maybe you both can come over here? I'll help you out" Really? Oh Shuichi, why did you do that to me? He absolutely knows that I don't like meeting new people...

"Thanks! You're so sweet, Saihara-chan!" Great, now I'll have to deal with both Kokichi and his friend...

"Wait, don't thank me yet. I need to ask Shinguji if he agrees" So he actually does care a bit about me. Still, I don't want those two in here, but I guess I'll need to live with that...

Suddenly, the door opened. I saw Shuichi standing right in front of me, while his boyfriend was hugging him from behind.

"Ok so, listen. Kokichi has a project and he needs to-"
"It's okay" I quickly said. I already knew what was he talking about...

"How did you know?" Shuichi asked...

"It's not my fault you were talking right in front of my door..." I thought it'd be pretty obvious for an Ultimate Detective he is...

"Ah, yeah, right..." just as I thought, now he's embarrassed by his own stupidity...

Quietly, we all went out of the dorm. We headed to breakfast...

When we arrived, Kokichi went to his part of the cafeteria (The one with normal students). Shuichi and I sat at one of the empty tables.

We were early. About 10 other students were around. The food wasn't even ready...

After a while, more of the Ultimates had arrive. I was hungry, but still, there were 30 minutes left to breakfast...

Suddenly, someone came to our table. I could recognise that person, because it was Kaede again. "Hey, Saihara!" She said...

"O-Oh, Akamatsu!" Shuichi greeted her with a hug. "How's your morning going?"...

"Ah, I just woke up. Nothing much!" She responded. If I'm right, Kaede's dorm-mate is Angie Yonaga — the Ultimate Artist. I saw her the other day, talking with one of the normal students...

Shuichi and Kaede started talking. They both seemed to be good friends. Shuichi once told me that he and Kaede were childhood friends...

Good, it was finally 8:00 a.m., which meant that breakfast has started. The bell rang, and more students had entered the canteen...

After a few seconds, the whole dining hall was quite busy. Everyone stood in a queue to get some food, even me. I heard that the main chef in our school is an Ultimate. It could be Teruteru Hanamura, the Ultimate Cook, 2nd year student. He earned that title after Yaku Ryori. She cooked for our school before him...

Finally, it was my turn. I just pointed at whatever I thought could be edible. Even though the Ultimate Cook is making all of this food, I don't trust him enough to eat something like Inago or Shirako...

When I got my food, I went back to where I sat before and started eating. I wondered where could Shuichi be, but then I saw him eating breakfast with other students. I expected that. Even he is embarrassed by being friends with me...

Haha! How pathetic, brother! No one will ever like you anymore!

Shut up and leave me alone, sister...

Oh? Did I hurt someone with my words?
