Byrd couldn't stop her eyes from moving as they tried to take in every little detail they passed, growing lower to the ground below. She didn't hide the smile on her lips, it was beautiful. A stark contrast to the green of earth, the trees were orange and pink and yellow, leaves of varying shades. The trees they passed were different shapes, some similar to that she had seen before. The ship came to land in a clearing, Shaw shutting down the engines to let them undo their seatbelts.

'We need to-' Bellamy started but Byrd was already walking away; 'Byrd!'

She jogged through the halls with an excited grin on her lips, everyone following after her. She stood by the lever, hand sitting ready on it as the others gathered behind her. She looked over her shoulder at them, shrugging before she pulled it down.

'Please be breathable. Please be breathable. Please be breathable,' Jackson muttered as the door lowered, revealing the new world to them.

The Delani girl looked up first, blinded by the bright orange sun blaring down on them.

'Breathable air check,' Jackson nodded when none of them began to die.

'Radiation levels good, too,' Emori checked the machine in her hand; 'Eligius III didn't need to send Nightbloods, after all.'

'How about that beacon, Shaw?' Bellamy asked.

'Eight clicks due east. I think it's on high ground. There's a water source about halfway,' Shaw checked the GSP in his hand.

They all looked out the door, waiting for something.

'You should go first this time,' Clarke looked up at Bellamy.

'No. We go together, all of us,' He shook his head.

They started down the ramp as a group, stepping onto the ground below.

'Anyone got anything better than, We're back, bitches?' Miller asked.

'We're here for round two?' Byrd smirked.

'Monty would know what to say,' Murphy muttered as the other's began to spread out; 'He should be here.'

'He is,' Bellamy reminded him.

'He already said it, Do better there,' Clarke suggested; 'So let's do better.'

'That's easy to say, but talk is cheap,' Shaw hissed before striding forward.

'I like him better and better everyday,' Byrd held her hand out to Murphy; 'Come on.'

She stepped through the waist high ferns, Murphy behind her; watching her in awe as the look of wonder on her face. She looked back at him with a smile, holding his eye as it held nothing but love. She slowed to walk beside him, his arm slinging over her shoulders as he kissed the side of her head.
