Byrd's stomach growled almost painfully as she laid on a bench staring up at the ceiling, her face turned up in a scowl as she stood and stomped over to the door; slamming her fist down on it. It'd been hours since Gaia had arrived in the cage of a room, and no one had been near them since.

'Hey, asswipes, you know you're supposed to feed your prisoners, right? I thought you only wanted one of us dead,' She shouted.

'What is it with you and food?' Raven sighed.

'I was locked up for six years with little to no food given to me ever, since I got out food is number one priority. Especially when dickheads like these wankers forget to give me some!'

She let out an annoyed noise as she kicked the door, walking back over to sit beside Murphy. He chuckled softly, kissing the top of her head when she slouched into him. She didn't react, her mind slowly shutting down her emotions as her heart began to lock itself away without her permission. So, instead, she watched Gaia crouch down near Madi; concern written on her face. The girl's eyes slowly opened, a dark look in them that Byrd had seen in her own once.

'I won't let you take this child,' Gaia spoke lowly.

Madi shot up from where she sat and charged forward until her chain reached its length, 'Get the hell out of my sight before I wrap this chain around your throat for disobeying me!'

'Oh, for God's sakes,' Abby scoffed as she stood; 'Just take the damn flame out of her head.'

'I can't,' Gaia replied with regret in her voice; 'She changed the passphrase.'

Madi yanked on her chain with a glare on her face, before she turned away and moved back over to the corner she'd been sitting in. Jackson approached Gaia, eyeing Madi off as she watched them closely.

'What happens when we get back to the mothership and she wakes her sleeping army?' He asked.

'Hell rains down on all of us,' Byrd spoke up after a beat of silence; 'And we all end up dead or wishing we were.'

'We can't let her lead them,' Gaia spoke softly.

'H-How was Sheidheda stopped in his time?' Miller queried.

'Killed by his Flamekeeper, or so the story goes,' Byrd chimed.

'His fourth Flamekeeper, actually,' Gaia sighed; 'He murdered the first three.'

'Hold on,' Abby strode forward; 'If you think for one second, I am gonna let you kill that child...'

'No one said anything about killing anyone, Abby,' Byrd rolled her eyes.

'What would you have me do?' Gaia turned to the Griffin woman; 'If we let that thing command Wonkru, he'll make us long for the days of Blodreina.'
