I got out of the car and I walked to the door.

I rung the doorbell of Stark Industries.

Pepper opened the door.

"Hey Steve, what's going on?" She asked.

"I need to talk to Tony." I say.

She lets me in and we walk to Tony's basement.

"He's doing readjustments on his suit." She said.

"Are you sure that you want to talk to him right now?" She asked.

"Yes."

She unlocks the door and we walk through.

I cleared my throat and Tony looks at me.

"Hey Cap, what's up?"

"I need to talk to you." I said.

"No you don't need to, you want to." He said.

"Use your words correctly."

"And I'm busy right now, I can't talk."

I smirked "You're talking right now."

He chuckled.

"Pepper?" Someone asked.

I turned around and I saw this, young, beautiful woman.

"Y/n, can you not come in here please?" Tony asked.

"Why not sir?" She asked.

She's got manners.

"Because it's dangerous in here."

"I mean, Captain America is right here, I bet he can keep me safe." She said.

I smiled.

"Yes ma'am, I keep all of the civilians safe." I said.

"And apparently Cap, has a soft spot." She said.

"Alright, fine, you can stay."

"Cap, this is y/n, Peppers friend." Tony said.

"And your other assistant for when Peppers gone, on vacation, or sick." Y/n said.

"Yes, that too." Tony said.

"And Peppers going on vacation today, so I'll be here if you need me." She said and walked out of the room.

"Y/n?" Tony asked.
