Thunderstorms* - Loki

50th chapter special!

So I just found out that Loki has always been afraid of thunderstorms. Whenever he heard thunder, he would run into Thor's room to sleep with him. At first Thor didn't know that it was his powers that scared Loki, but when he did, he didn't have the heart to tell him.

And now I'm gonna write a chapter about it.

I was inspired by the thunderstorm that I'm having outside right now.

Y/n's pov

I woke up to loud thunder crackling in the sky.

Then I heard a scared whimper coming from someone.

I sat up and I rubbed my eyes, I looked around and I saw Loki on the floor.

"Loki?" I asked as the clouds crackled.

I got up and I went up to him and I kneeled in front of him.

"Loki, babe what's wrong?" I softly.

He looked away, ashamed but still scared.

"Is it the storm?" I asked and he slowly nodded.

The thunder made a loud noise and Loki jumped.

I put my hands on his face and I kissed his cheek to calm him down.

I stroked his cheek with my finger as he pulled me onto his lap, holding me.

"Let's get back to bed." I said as I got up, I took his hand and I pulled him back into bed.

We got settled in but then the thunder made a big noise, which ended up with Loki screaming.

I covered his mouth and I shushed him softly.

"Hey it's okay, it's just a storm, it's not going to hurt you."

His breath was racing.

"Loki listen to me." I said and he looked at me.

"It's okay." I said softly.

His breathing slowed down a little bit, and he cuddled me tightly.

I was tired nonetheless but, I felt bad for Loki.

I kissed his cheek again.

"I love you."

He kissed my forehead.

"I love you too."

The rain started to come down harder.

Loki seemed like he wasn't scared of the rain, I think that he just hates loud noises.

To help him go to sleep, I started humming softly.

His breathing slowed down and he closed his eyes and he smiled softly.

I smiled at him smiling.

I kissed his perfect pink lips, and he kissed back.

He cleared his throat and he said "Thank you darling."

I smiled "Anything for my king."

He cuddled me closer and we fell asleep some time later.

*Morning*

I walked out to the kitchen and I started fixing myself a cup of coffee.

Thunder rippled through the clouds.

Damn who hurt Thor this time?

I looked at my watch and it said '10:57.'

I looked out the window, it was like it was still 4 am.

I yawned as I heard quick shuffling and then arms wrapping around my waist.

"Darling." He said very quietly.

"Hmm?"

"I'm scared."

I looked up at him.

He wasn't lying.

"It's okay, Thor's probably just having a bad day."

He sighed out of his nose and he let me go and he stood up straight.

I sat down at the bar counter on a stool.

Loki cleared his throat and he started making his tea.

When Loki was done he sat down next to me, and he put a hand on my thigh.

I placed my hand on his and he flipped his hand over, and we intertwined our fingers.

I took a drink of my coffee as I smiled.

Lightning struck down.

Loki squeezed my hand softly.

I squeezed his hand back and I looked at him.

I smiled softly at him as I thought: 'I love you.'

He squeezed my hand a little harder.

I heard him gulp.

I stroked his hand with my thumb.

The rain came down harder, but the thunder and lightning stopped.

"Hey y/n?" Natasha asked.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Who screamed earlier?"

Loki took a sip of his tea as he looked at me.

"What scream?" I asked.

"You know what I'm talking about." She said, leaning on the counter in front of me.

I shook my head "No I don't."

I took a sip of my coffee.

"Yes you do."

I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Nat, I have no idea what you're talking about."

"But, if there was screaming, it might've been Bucky."

"Yeah that makes sense."

I nodded in agreeing and Natasha walked away.

Loki leaned in to my ear and he whispered "Thank you, she never would've let that go."

I smiled.

"Anything for my king."

He smirked as he kissed my neck.

I smiled as I took a sip of my coffee.

I kissed his forehead and I smiled.

"I love you."

He smiled.

"I know you do."
