High School au

Bucky's pov (he's like 17 btw)

I grabbed my books from my locker and I went to class.

On my way there I accidentally bumped into someone.

"Hey watch out!" He yelled.

Oh no, him again.

"Sorry!" I said.

I walked into the classroom and I sat down in my assigned seat. (Those suck am I right?)

Then the bell rang signaling that class is starting.

Then our teacher walked in and said "Hello everyone! Today we have a new student! Her name is y/n and she's from California!"

Then she motioned for someone to come to her.

Then a beautiful girl walked up to her and I couldn't take my eyes off her.

"Oh wow." I muttered to myself.

She waved shyly and she said "Hi, I am from Los Angeles, California and I'm 16 years old, my dad took a new job here so we had to move here, uhm, the last school I was at, I didn't have any friends so I hope I could at least have one."

"I could be your friend." I blurted out.

She smiled.

And I smiled at her in return.

"Okay you can go sit down wherever you want." The teacher said and y/n came over to me and sat down next to me.

I smiled at her again.

I am going to love this day.

The teacher started the lesson for today and I leaned over to her and I said "My name is James, but everyone calls me Bucky."

She giggled softly and said "My name is Y/n, as you already know, but my family calls me y/n/n." (Your/Nick/Name.)

"It's nice to meet you."

She smiled.

"You too."

*Time skippy to lunch*

I got my lunch and I sat down next to my best friend Steve.

"Hey Stevie, you met the new girl yet?"

He sighed dramatically and he said "Have you?"

I chuckled and I said "Yeah, she's so sweet and shy."

"Hey, got room for one more?" I heard a familiar voice ask.

I looked behind me and sure enough, it was y/n.

"Y/n! Yeah of course we do!"

Then y/n sat down next to me and I introduced her to Steve.

"Y/n, this is Steve and Steve, this is y/n."

"Hello y/n, how are you?"

"I'm great thanks for asking." She said and giggled nervously.

I smiled.
