Y/n's pov.

"Mother must I marry him?" I asked as I went up to her.

"Yes, you must." She said.

"But mother, he's the God of Mischief!"

"I know, and but I've heard good things about him."

"But mother-!" I said and she cut me off.

"Now now y/n, it's not that bad, I know he's the God of Mischief, but I've heard that he's handsome and-"

"Also the backstabbing God of Mischief?" I asked.

"Y/n, listen to me, please, I've heard good things about him, you'll love him! I promise. And you haven't even met him yet but trust me you'll love him."

I rolled my eyes and I sighed, knowing that I'm not going to be able to get out of this.

"Mother I cannot do this."

"Well why not?"

"I'm not going to marry someone who I haven't met yet."

"I want to get to know him before I marry him."

She looked at me disapprovingly.

"I want a week, a week, and then I'll marry him, mother please."

"Y/n, you know that I can't do that."

"Can't, or won't?"

"I'll be right back okay? I have to do something really quick." She said before she left my room.

I sighed softly as I brushed my hair.

When I was done brushing my hair I decided to go to the dining hall.

I ate a little bit of food before I made some tea.

I sat down in a chair by the window, and I looked out, watching the birds flying around.

I sipped on my tea and I smiled softly.

Welp, I can't wait for this marriage.

*A month later*

The time has come, I was walking down the isle, with my fathers arm linked with mine.

As we neared the alter, my father softly whispered into my ear "I'm so proud of you y/n, I couldn't be more happy than I am right now."

I smiled at him.

"Thank you father."

I stood in front of Loki and then my father unlinked his arm and then sat down next to my mother.

He smiled at me and he grabbed my hands and held onto them gently.

My mother wasn't lying though, he is quite handsome, and he seems quite gentle.

I looked up at the pale, raven haired man and into his green eyes that glistened in the sunlight. They showed one emotion:

Excitement.

But I could see sadness as I looked into them deeply.

I smiled at him.

"Do you Loki Odinson, take y/n as your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do."

"And y/n, do you take Loki Odinson as your lawfully wedded husband?"

I hesitated for a moment, but then I finally said "I do."
