I woke up panicking. I sat in the dark room and tried to calm myself down.
I couldn't remember what my dream was about but it certainly was frightening.
I reached to the side of the bed to turn on my lamp. But there was no table.
I got out of bed and stumbled because the bed was a lot lower than usual. I went over to the window and could make out the city.
Wait.
What city? I lived in a nice neighborhood that had flowers and trees. But that was in the suburbs not the city.
I tried to navigate my way to the light switch but kept tripping over books that were scattered all over the floor.
Finally I reached the door and switched the light on. Looking around the room, I realized this was definitely NOT MY room.
There were boy band posters all over the walls and a outfit that looked like only a super popular girl would wear.
So a.k.a I would never wear it.
There was also a bulletin board full of photos of me and some guy. Next to those were a bunch of photos of me with guys but all the guys faces had x's or devil horns drawn in. I didn't remember taking any pictures with any guys ever!
I've never really had an actual boyfriend before, but to me it looks like all the x-Out faces were my ex boyfriends. But I've never had a boyfriend.
What the hell.
