Lying next to George, all I could hear was his heartbeat as he slept silently. His chest was rising up and down, making my hand move with it as I rested my hand upon his bare chest. I couldn’t help but grin to myself as I looked over at him. “What you grinning at?” he laughed at me, still with his eyes closed, startling me.
“I thought you were asleep,” I giggled.
“I’ve been awake for ages,” he smiled, pulling me in closer to him.
“Why didn’t you wake me up then?” I grinned.
George didn’t reply, but instead he just kissed the top of my head. We laid cuddling for a while in complete silence – it wasn’t even an awkward silence; it was just a nice, relaxing silence.
“What time is it?” I asked after a while.
“Half eight,” he smiled.
“I’d better go to my room,” I sighed.
“Can’t you just stay for ten more minutes?” George groaned.
“We’ve gotta go to the studio,” I grinned as I sat up and looked back at George, who still laid in the bed watching me.
“Oh yeah, forgot about the show,” he smiled.
“I’m stealing your monkey onesie,” I laughed, grabbing his monkey onesie off the floor beside his bed.
“Look after him. He’s my dear friend,” George joked as I got in the onesie and zipped it up.
“I’ll take good care of your monkey onesie, George,” I grinned, standing up.
I went to grab my clothes from around the bed when all of a sudden George grabbed hold of my hand and pulled me back onto the bed. “You’re not going anywhere,” he smiled, looking into my eyes.
“George,” I said.
He didn’t let go of me.
“George..”
He still didn’t let go of me.
“George!” I screamed as Jaymi walked back into the room.
“Whoa. Thought you’d be done by now,” Jaymi said, turning around.
“Jaymi, he won’t let go of me,” I grinned, trying to break George’s hold on my arm.
“George, let go of Sammy or your monkey onesie gets it,” Jaymi joked.
As soon as Jaymi said that George let go of me. “You wouldn’t dare,” George said.
“See you later, Jaymi,” I laughed, running out the door and down the corridor to my hotel room.
Opening the door, I dumped my stuff down on the floor and went towards the bathroom to get a quick shower. As I walked towards the bathroom, I noticed a pile of clothes laid out on my bed with a note on top of it. I opened the note and began to read it:
“Sammy. We’ve got a surprise for you since you’re the only girl left in the competition. No studio rehearsals for you or Union J this morning as you’re going to have a splashing time! The Xtra Factor crew x”
Confused, I put the note down on the bed beside the clothes and looked at the clothes. A white strap top, denim shirt and white denim shorts along with a pair of black vans. I didn’t understand what was going on. I got a quick shower, dried my hair, curled it into loose curls and then did my make-up. By the time I got dressed and went to walk out the door, there was a knock at the door.
“Do you have any idea what this is about?” Josh asked me, flashing a similar note to mine to me as I opened the door to find JJ, Josh, George and Jaymi stood in the hallway.
