“Oh my god!” we all said in amazement, looking out of the window of the plane as it began to land.

The glistening deep blue ocean; the white gold sand on the beach; the shining sun – it was all beautiful. After an eight hour flight of watching movies and sleeping, all I wanted to do was run out of the plane and jump into a pool. Once we finally landed, I looked at George as he woke up. “Have we landed?” he asked, looking confused as he looked around.

“Yeah,” I grinned.

The more the cabin crew announced there was a delay with the terminal, the more impatient I got. “Don’t they realise that they’re minimising our pool time?” Jaymi said in a feisty manner.

Eventually, the doors of the plane opened. As soon as the sunlight invaded the plane’s cabin you could feel the strength of the heat. “Oh wow,” we all said in unison, again in amazement but this time at the heat.

“Look at you five,” Michael laughed as he stood up and grabbed mum’s stuff from the overhead compartment. “It’s like you haven’t seen the sun in years.”

“We haven’t,” I joked. “We’re English.”

“Come on children,” mum smiled as she stood up, holding Jack, who was fast asleep in her arms.

As soon as I stood up, my legs felt like they were going to give way after sitting down for eight hours straight. Everyone began to pile out of the plane and walk down the steps to the terminal. Walking out of the plane’s door was like walking into a baking hot oven – an amazing baking hot oven though. The sun was so bright that we could hardly see anything but none of us complained. We made our way into the terminal and surprisingly got through security in no time at all. Everybody else went to find where the luggage claim was as  me, George, Josh, Jaymi and JJ stood in the middle of the terminal, staring out of the window at the stunning view of the sunshine over the runway.

“I really need a wee,” Josh announced out of nowhere.

We all looked at him and laughed as he rushed off across the terminal to find toilets. “We’d better go after him,” Jaymi sighed, taking one last look at the view.

Jaymi and JJ talked to each other as we all followed in the direction that Josh ran in. “Can you believe we’re in the Caribbean?” George asked me as we walked beside Jaymi and JJ, holding hands still.

“No,” I said. “I can’t even believe that you lot are here.”

“Nice surprise?” George grinned.

“Amazing surprise.”

Once we found where Josh was sat waiting for us after - and I quote - ‘weeing for England’, I quickly rushed into the girls’ toilets to get changed out of my hoodie and my jeans and freshen myself up to get rid of the groggy flight feeling.

“Bye-bye white and pasty skin,” I laughed to myself as I changed into my denim shorts and tank top. “Hello tanned and tasty.”

“Hurry up!” a voice that sounded a lot like Josh’s shouted to me from outside.

“Chill ya beans,” I shouted back as I redid my make-up.

As soon as I walked out of the toilets, carrying my original outfit in my bag, the boys were sat on the bench facing away from me talking. “Ready then?” I screamed in Josh’s ear making him jump.

“That was not fair,” Josh said, trying to get his heart rate back to normal after nearly dying of fright.

I, on the other hand, was trying to get my heart rate back to normal after nearly dying from laughing. “That was,” I grinned.

“Not,” he shouted as he got up from the bench and made his way towards me.

Before he had chance to grab hold of me, I ran towards the baggage claim where everyone was stood around. “Mum!” I grinned as I ran towards her. “Josh is trying to hurt me.”

Until the wedding, I was sharing a suite with Kate. We walked into the room and down the little corridor into the main suite. As we walked into the bedroom, we couldn’t help but look around in astonishment at the room. Beside the window which looked out onto the beach there was a king size bed that had an arrangement of cushions scattered over the head of it. In front of the bed was a huge TV screen that had a montage of photographs of the hotel on the screen. Then there was the balcony. You could see the amazing view from every aspect of the room through the massive glass panels that made up the outer wall of the hotel suite.

“Look at that view,” I said to Kate as I made my way to stand on the balcony in the hotel room, looking out onto the view of the water park beside the beach as I held onto the metal railing to stop myself from falling 19 floors to the ground.

“Two days until I’ll be getting married on that beach,” Kate beamed in awe at the amazing view as she joined me on the balcony.

“It’s gonna be amazing, Kate,” I grinned. “I want to stare at that view all day but sadly I’ve gotta go check out that.” I pointed to the huge water slide that dominated the whole water park.

“Have fun,” Kate laughed as I rushed off into the bathroom to get changed into my bikini.
