I landed in the Beacon courtyard and looked at the school. My wings rested on my back as people stared at me, 'great...I'm so prepared for a thousand questions' I sighed as my heels clicked against the ground. I wasn't paying attention until I felt my semblance start to balance out. I gasped as I looked up, I saw a man wearing a red cape talking to a woman who had long black hair, they both had black hair and red eyes. 'The hell?' I stared at him, he stopped talking to the woman and looked around, his eyes landed on me as we stared at each other. He cocked his head and walked up to me. Even in heels, he was taller than me, or maybe I'm just a short person. "Why hello there" he spoke as I groaned and pinched my nose. "Dude, lay off the alcohol" I spoke as the woman chuckled, "I've been telling him that for years" she spoke as he glared at her and then turned back to me, "you felt it too right? The shift in good and bad luck." he spoke as I nodded, "I've never felt anything like that...who knows...maybe there's some here that balance me." I spoke walking past him, "whoa..." they both spoke as I sighed, "all right, let's get this straight before you both ask questions. I'm a faunus, a special faunus. That last eagle faunus there is...my parents were killed by a tribe of bandits outside of Haven..." I told them as they looked at each other and then back at me.

"Now if you two don't mind...this walking good luck charm has to get to the ceremony" I added as I turned and walked away. 'That guy seriously needs to lay off the alcohol...' I sighed as I stood by some students who were staring at me. To my right was two girls, "well then go talk to her" one of them spoke as the smaller girl approached me. She opened her mouth to say something but hid behind the other girl causing her to chuckle. We were told that we'd be sleeping in the ballroom tonight, tomorrow initiation begins. I changed into my pajamas.

I sat down on my sleeping bags, my wings wrapped around me as I began to read a book. Soon I heard struggling, I looked up and saw the two girls from before. "Hellooo!" the one with short black hair and purple eyes spoke as she waved, "my sister is too shy to introduce herself, sometimes she needs a little push" she spoke as I looked at them, "hi, I'm Y/n," I said getting up and holding out my hand, the girl with purple eyes elbowed the girl with long black hair and pale blue eyes, she had a bandage across her nose and on her cheek. 'Damn...what happened?' I stared at her bandages, "o-oh...these...H-Hoshi trained m-me" the girl spoke in a soft voice as her sister chuckled, "sorry Aika..." she spoke, "I'm Hoshi, Aika's older sister." Hoshi smiled as I shook her hand, "I-I like your w-wings" Aika stuttered as I looked back at me wings resting on my back, "thanks. I'm the last eagle faunus there is...the rest of us got wiped out..." I told them, "oh damn" Hoshi "H-Hoshi! You c-can't say things like that" spoke Aika as I chuckled, "it's fine" I spoke as Aika hid behind her older sister, "Aika is extremely shy..." Hoshi explained as I looked at Aika, "I won't bite...and if we end up on the same team, you're gonna have to get used to me..." I gave her a warming smile as she smiled a little, I stretched and then yawned. I went to bed, woke up the next morning, got dressed, ate breakfast, grabbed Shadowfang and headed to the cliffs.

We were told to come up with a landing strategy and then look for some relics. Ozpin's eyes landed on me. I blinked at him as he saw my wings, "It seems one of you won't need a landing strategy" he spoke as I snorted, "can't help who I am professor" I told him as he gave me a smile. I looked beside me and saw the man from yesterday, he winked at me (like in the gif) and got launched into the air. I rolled my eyes as I was launched, I smiled as the wind blew through my hair, I opened my eyes and made myself into a human torpedo. Before I hit the ground, I flapped my wings to ease my landing, I stood up and looked around. 'Now the hunt begins' I smirked as I started walking through the woods. Soon I was fighting two Grimm, I slid under one of the Grimms attacks and stabbed it in the back, I turned and got knocked back. Shadowfang got knocked out of my hand, I slid on the ground. I looked up and growled. I flapped my wings hard, making the Grimm fly back, I grabbed Shadowfang, ready to shoot the Beowulf, but someone else shot it first. It fell in front of me and I saw Hoshi, she looked so different than last night. She looked at me and it was like she was staring through me, "I could've taken it" I told her, "let's go..." she simply said. 'She's very different than she is when around her sister' I stared at her as she pulled out a pack of cigarettes and started smoking. 'She's like fifteen! What the shit?!' I was in shock, "no, I don't want to talk about why I am the way I am right now...and no...I will not stop smoking..." she spoke as I stared at her and then looked away following her. We had finally found the Relics. "Chess pieces?" she asked looking at the relics, "which do we chose?" I asked her as she shrugged.
