~Years later~

I flew as fast as I could to get to Beacon when I saw Oz's window I held up my wings as I crashed through it, "bad landing strategy!" I shouted as I hit his desk knocking it over and bouncing on the floor as I rolled. "Y/n?!" Oz spoke as I struggled to get up, "She's..." I started as I got off the floor. Glynda ran over to me and helped me up. I cracked my back and pulled pieces of glass out of my arms and wings. "It's Salem..." I spoke walking up to Oz, "she's after a Relic, she said there are four and she told me that they're all in the schools...she told me that she needs them for something and that they're very dangerous...she's after whichever one is here" I told him as he blinked a few times, "the Crown of Choice is perfectly safe Y/n" Oz told me, "is it?!" I asked him as he stared at me "yes...and even if she did find a way to get to it she can't" he reassured me, "without the Fall Maiden..." I spoke as he placed a hand on my shoulder and I let out a sigh. I heard the elevator, "geez, what happened in here?" spoke a familiar voice, "Y/n crashed through the window" Glynda spoke crossing her arms and looked at me. "It was a bad landing strategy! I know!" I shouted as both Oz and Glynda chuckled. Glynda gestured to Qrow, I looked at him, he was staring at me in shock, his flask had fallen from his hand. "I'm not seeing things right?" he asked as Oz shook his head, Qrow then pulled me into a tight hug, "careful! Delicate wings" I spoke as he just hugged me. "Missed you too birdie" I smiled as I wrapped my arms around him a hug.

"What are you doing here? Did you finally learn that Salem is an evil bitch?" he asked as I furrowed my eyebrows at him. "She may be an evil bitch, but she still raised me Qrow," I told him as he grew quiet, "I only came back to warn Oz..." I spoke walking over to the broken window. My wings were now longer than before, they dragged against the ground some. I expanded my wings and fell through the window. I made myself into a torpedo before flying off. I stopped over some woods as I knew something was following me, I turned my head and saw a crow following me. "Shoo..." I spoke as it flapped in front of me, "the fuck is up with this crow" I whispered as it stared at me, I flew high in the sky, it flew up past me, I watched as it went into the clouds and who fell out of the clouds shocked me. I flew and caught him. I landed and placed him on the ground "uhm...what?" I cocked my head as he cleared his throat, "I can turn into a bird" he told me as I squinted at him, "huh...now I have the right to call you birdie" I joked as he chuckled, "where are you headed?" he asked as I chewed on the inside of my mouth, "I'm headed home..." I told him as he cocked his head to the side, "can I come?" he asked as my eyes grew wide. 'Salem is waiting for me to get home...' I looked at him, "too bad, I can keep up with you now..." he spoke as he turned into a crow, I groaned as I took flight, we raced each other through the sky until I landed outside a cottage. I walked through the door. "I'm home!" I shouted as Salem walked up with a smile on her face, "hello, Y-..." she stopped herself when she saw Qrow. His eyes grew wide as he reached for Harbinger, I stood in front of him, my hand ready to block any attack he made towards her.

"Y/n, move" he growled, I just shook my head, "I told you Qrow, she raised me...I owe her my life" I told him as he looked at me, he groaned and put Harbinger away. "Don't kill him..." I told Salem as she looked at me, "I like him." I smiled at her as she returned the smile and kissed me on my forehead. I walked into my room and placed Shadowfang on my dresser. "Where were you Y/n?" she asked as walked back in, she was in the kitchen making tea, "I went out for a flight...I told you that. I do need to stretch my wings every now and then" I told her as she looked at me, "are you sure?" she asked as I nodded. "Why would I ever lie to you Salem?" I asked her as she smiled, "good point..." she spoke as she poured a cup for Qrow, he looked at the tea, "relax, I'm not going to kill you...at least, not in Y/n's home" she told him as he glared at her and she poured me a cup. I sat down at the table and took a sip of the tea. "So how is he?" she asked me as I looked at her and sighed. "The same..." I told her, she had a softness in her eyes, I could tell she loved him dearly but also wanted to kill him. Qrow looked between the two of us and sipped his tea, "huh..." he spoke as we looked at him, "not what I was expecting..." he mumbled as he drank some more of it. I giggled as Salem leaned over to me, "I like him" she whispered, "Salem!" I spoke as she laughed and Qrow gave us a confused look, "this is not how I expected the two of you to meet..." I sighed placing my head in my hands, "considering, he works for him? I do wish things were different dear...but this is how things are it seems" Salem spoke, "wait, what's happening?" Qrow asked as I snorted, "nothing. Go back to being confused" I told him as Salem laughed again, "I'll leave the two of you to catch up while I clean the cups...anytime you are here, you won't be my enemy Qrow..." she started as she got up, "but know this..." she added as we looked at her, "the moment we step out of that door...and we go back to our normal lives, you're on my list again" she told him as he smirked, "wouldn't have any other way." he spoke standing, "until we meet again, either here or on the battlefield" he spoke as I looked at her.

"Go walked him out Y/n," she told me as I sighed and got up. Qrow and I walked through the woods. He had his hands in his pockets. "So, that happened" he spoke as I chuckled, "I think I remember a time when you thought she was lovely" I hip bumped him and he rolled his eyes, "that was before I knew the truth about her" he spoke as I stopped. He stopped and looked at me. "You don't know the truth...you don't know what she's been through. Why she's the way she is...you know nothing about her Qrow...don't let one of Ozpin's lies get to you" I told him as he looked away, "does this mean we're enemies?" he asked as I looked at him. I was silent, I looked at the ground. "I'll always side with her..." I whispered as I looked at him, he had tears in his eyes. "Y'know...that night on our very first mission together...I had realized I loved you...and I'll always love you. I don't want to fight you" he spoke as I stared at him, "you've chosen your side, as have I. We were just born opposite" I whispered backing away from him. I then took flight knowing that I had caused a gust of wind and pushed dirt into his eyes, I flew back home. I walked inside and sighed as I sat down on my couch.
