I went to bed that night. Once again I was in that dark place, I let out a sigh, "you know...I'm getting real sick of you being in my head" I spoke knowing Salem was behind me, "just come back to me, and all will be forgiven" she spoke as I looked at her, "go back to you?! Are you joking?! You cut off my wings!" I exclaimed as she looked at the ground, "here, I have complete and total control over your dreams" she spoke as she waved her hand, there was a large gust of wind, we were standing in a meadow, there was a hill that held a singular tree. "I can make you dream of good things like I did when you were a child" she continued as Qrow appeared, he looked at me and smiled, he ran up to me. He wrapped his arms around me. "Or..." she spoke as it all went away. Next, we were standing in the White Fang camp, everything was burning and people were dead "I can make you have nightmares..." she spoke. "Y-Y/n..." I heard Adam's voice, I turned and saw him struggling to get up. "You really think that bird loves you?" she spoke as a foot landed on Adam's back pushing him onto the ground. "You're nothing to him..." she continued as Harbinger pierced through Adam's back, killing him. "He'll never see you as his equal," she spoke as I stared at Qrow who looked at me, it was like he was looking straight through me, he walked towards me. "Sure, he may balance you out...but he doesn't truly love you" she spoke as Ruby ran towards her uncle, he stabbed her, he killed everyone that stood in his way.

I stared at Ruby's body and fell to the ground crying as I held my head. "N-No..." Qrow spoke as I looked up, "she's wrong" he spoke as I looked at him, a large gust of wind hit us, we were back in the meadow. "She's wrong Y/n, don't listen to her" he spoke as I saw my friends standing with him.

~Qrow's pov~

I was woken up by her whimpering, everyone was in our room. "Shut up Salem..." she whispered as she held her head, "he loves me..." she continued, "Q-Qrow...please don't hurt them..." she cried in her sleep. "N-No..." I spoke as she grew quiet, "she's wrong." I continued as her grip on her head loosened, "she's wrong Y/n, don't listen to her" I spoke, "We love you aunt Y/n, it's her who doesn't love you" Ruby spoke.

~Your pov~

"You're family now" Hoshi spoke as I looked at her, "we're all here for you Y/n...we're not going anywhere..." Qrow helped me to my feet as I stared at him, "what is this?!" Salem growled, "this is my family..." I looked at her, "and they love me more than you ever would. More than you ever loved Ozma..." I glared at her. "Now...GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" I shouted as she screamed. I shot awake, I spat out a weird Grimm looking slug and gasped. James caught the slug in a jar, he placed a lid on it and examined it. I coughed as I got out of bed, I rushed to the bathroom and threw up. It was completely black. I gasped out whenever I was finished, I coughed as I weakly walked over to the sink. I looked at myself in the mirror. Everything about me was different, my hair was white and my eyes were pale yellow, but the way they shined in the light they looked golden. 'What the actual fuck?' I blinked a few times and then brushed my teeth. I walked out of the bathroom, they all stared at me. "What?" I asked as Adam smiled, "you look different is all" Qrow spoke, "that is her natural hair color and her natural eyes...whatever that thing is. It changed her hair and eyes to h/c and e/c" Adam spoke (h/c=hair color, e/c=eye color) "how are you feeling?" Summer asked as I groaned and placed a hand on my stomach, "I feel like death" I spoke as they all chuckled. "We need to figure out what this thing is" James spoke holding up the Grimm slug. "It's a way she can control dreams...she must have put it inside me whenever she found me. It must've been the reason she was able to hurt me in my dreams and it affected me in life..." I told them.

"So, how'd you get it out?" Qrow asked as I thought for a moment, I loved over at Ruby and remembered seeing her lifeless body, her silver dead eyes starring into mine. My breathing grew heavy as I stared at her, they all looked at her, "Aunt Y/n?" she asked as I fell to the ground crying. I placed my hands on my head, "no..." I whispered as I cried, "Y/n..." Qrow crouched down and placed a hand on my shoulder. "What happened?" he asked as I stared into his red eyes, "s-she made me watch you kill R-Ruby" I whispered as his eyes grew wide, he looked over at his niece who looked at me with concern. Ruby walked over to me, sat on her knees and hugged me tightly. I placed my hand on her head as I held her in my arms. "I don't want to lose my niece..." I whispered as Qrow looked at me, "you won't aunt Y/n...I promise" she spoke as I smiled and we remained like that. After a few minutes they all left, I was sitting on the couch, my head on Qrows chest as he held me. Adam was cleaning Wilt. I watched as he took apart Blush and began cleaning it. Qrow ran his fingers through my white hair (basically you're a bald eagle...and their head is white so your hair is white) I looked up at him. "I kind of like this new hair" he spoke as I giggled, "if we were to ever have kids...they'd have gray hair" I joked as he chuckled as there was a knock on the door. Oscar walked in, "what's Oscar?" I asked as he looked at the ground and then looked at me, "Ozpin...wanted to talk to you Y/n..." Oscar spoke as Qrow and I looked at him in shock because Oz hadn't come out to talk since the train crash after Haven.
