~Time skip to Atlas cause I'm a lazy hoe~

We were in an elevator, we had just been arrested for stealing an Atlesean ship. When the elevator stopped and the doors opened and we walked through. I saw Ironwood walking to his office with Winter and a girl. "James" I spoke as he stopped and looked at us, they all looked at us. "You have three seconds to get those off" Winter spoke to the guards who began to frantically get the cuffs off us. I expanded my wings since they also put chains on my wings. I stretched, "that feels ama-..." I started, "where's out mom?" asked Ruby, "James?" a woman asked as she walked in, we all looked at her. She gasped as she saw Ruby and Yang. "My babies..." she whispered as tears filled her eyes. Ruby's eyes grew wide, "mom!" she exclaimed as Tai walked out, both Yang and Ruby ran into Summer's arms as the three of them cried and held each other. I smiled, Tai hugged the three as Summer gripped onto his arm. "Give them a moment, James, can we talk in your office?" Qrow spoke, "after everyone catches up and rests for a few days" he spoke as Hoshi, Aika and Zero walked up. Wiess gasped and hugged her uncle. Aika and Hoshi hugged me tightly. "We thought we'd never see you again" Aika spoke as I returned the hug to my friends, "I knew you weren't evil" Hoshi joked as I chuckled and scratched the back of my head as we pulled apart. James walked into his office, "well, if it wasn't for this bird..." I started while pointing at Qrow, "I wouldn't be standing here right now..." I told them as Qrow looked at me in confusion.

"What did I do?" he cocked his head, "you told me that you loved me silly," I told him as he stared at me and then smiled. That night I went to sleep.

~Dream~

I was in a dark place, I looked around and rubbed my eyes. "You betrayed my Y/n..." Salem spoke as I turned and looked at her, she was walking towards me, "I betrayed you? You asked me to kill one of my best friends!" I yelled at her, in one swift motion she grabbed my throat. She growled as she held me above her. I tried to gasp for air, her grip grew tighter as I felt blood trickle down my neck caused by her nails. My vision grew blurry as I tried to kick but everything grew tired. "S-Salem..." I gasped out as everything got dark.

~End of dream~

"Y/n!" Qrow shouted as I opened my eyes and started coughing violently. I pushed him off me as I tried to get out of the bed but fell the ground coughing. I gasped for air as I ran my fingers over my throat, I could feel something warm down my neck, I ran my fingers over it, I looked at my hand and saw it was my blood. 'What the fuck?!' breathing hurt, I looked at Qrow with tears in my eyes, "what's happening to me?" I asked him as he had worry on his face. "I don't know..." he whispered as he hugged me. That morning was spent in the infirmary, I had patches on both sides of my neck from where her nails dug into my skin, there was also a large bruise on my throat. 'Great...more ugly scars...' I stared at the ground as Qrow, Summer, Tai, Hoshi, Aika, Zero, and James talked in the doorway, they were whispering. I glanced up at them and then focused on the ground again. 'I hate being talked about...' I sighed as they grew quiet, they all walked up to me. "Let me guess, it's worse than we thought, where she raised me...she has control over what she does to me in my dreams which in turn happens to me in real life?" I asked looking at them. "How'd you know?" Tai asked as I sighed and then gripped my throat in pain, "because I know her..." I said reaching for some water. I took a sip, it hurt to breathe, talk, eat, and drink.

"You shouldn't talk," the doctor told me as I looked at him, "blow me" I spoke furrowing my eyebrows, I got off the bed. "Where are you going?" James asked, "I'm not just gonna sit around while the rest of you prepare for a battle with her," I told him, "you're not fit for duty" he spoke as I looked at him, "and you're not my boss...I'm not one of your soldiers James," I told him as he stared at me, "you're right Qrow, she is more like you than I thought" James spoke as Qrow let out a nervous chuckle. "All right, if you want to help, then we could use your help with our current mission" James spoke as I smiled. We were supposed to clear out a dust mine for Amity Colosseum.
