~A year later~

My advisor was just going on and on. I sighed, Adam and Blake looked at me, I toyed with Qrows old ring that was now on a chain around my neck,  Blake and Adam looked at each other. "I think that's enough for one day" Blake spoke as I looked at her, "of course, general" my advisor spoke, he bowed and then walked off. "Thanks" I smiled at Blake who returned the smile, "Y/n?" Adam asked as I got up from my throne, "I'm gonna go for a walk" I said as I left. I was through the village, I was in my black dress, white leggings, and white heels. My heel clicked against the stone, I stared at the ground as I walked, "ooo! Ooo! There she is!" spoke a familiar voice, "aunt Y/n!" they shouted as I looked up and saw Ruby with Yang, Tai, Summer, and Qrow. I looked at them and smiled. "Ruby!" I shouted as I ran towards them hugging my nieces tightly. "Ahh! It's so good to see you!" Ruby spoke as I giggled, "did ya miss me? Did ya?" she asked as I looked at her, "nope," I said jokingly as I ruffled her hair. "Blake!" Yang shouted as she ran up to Blake and hugged her. "I didn't know you guys were coming to visit today" I spoke as Weiss walked up to the three friends. "Ah yeah! Team RWBY is back together!" Ruby exclaimed making the girls laugh, "Ruby was a bit down...we figured a visit here couldn't hurt" Summer told me as I nodded, Qrow looked at me and his eyes landed on my necklace, I knew he was looking at me but I didn't pay him any attention.

We walked back to my castle, "how are you settling in?" Tai asked as the Weiss, Yang, and Ruby ran around looking at everything. "I've adjusted, Oscar is Blakes second in command now" I spoke as Blake nodded, we all sat down at the table for dinner, "ooo! Look! Fancy forks!" Ruby spoke as I giggled again, "don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic about seeing you guys...but, we aren't having anything fancy...it's just pizza" I said as the servants gave us our pizzas. That night I stood on the balcony, my long white hair flowing in the wind with my nightgown. I sighed as I placed my fingers on Qrows ring. "You having nightmares again?" Qrow asked as I looked back at him. I was silent, then I looked away as he sighed. "I get it..." he started, "you're mad at me" he spoke as I scoffed, "I'm not mad Qrow...I'm upset..." I whispered as he walked up beside me, "the last time I was on a balcony, you were flying away" I told him as he looked at me, "I heard that entire conversation you had with Tai" I spoke as he sighed, "I'd do anything to be able to take flight with you..." I told him, he was silent for a moment, "get changed" he spoke as I looked at him, I changed into my normal clothes, he stood on the railing of the balcony, "let's do it..." he said as he held out his hand.

I stared at him, he had a smile on his face as he held out his hand. I smiled and took his hand. He turned into a crow and I took flight. We raced across the ocean I let my hand run against the water as I flew, I let out a laugh as I flew. We landed on some rocks, he let out a chuckle as I laughed. I stared at him, it was only him, me, the stars, and the moon. I smiled as he stared at me, "I-I'm sorry for leaving" he whispered as he grabbed my hips and brought me closer to him. "It's fine...you're here now..." I spoke as I hugged him and inhaled his scent. "Y/n...I love you" he spoke as I looked up at him. He grabbed my hands and kneeled down, he pulled out a box and opened it. "Will you...please, marry me?" he asked as I stared at the ring.

I smiled. "Yes," I nodded as he smiled. He slid the ring onto my finger, got off his knee and kissed me passionately. "I swear, nothing will ever make me leave...ever again" he whispered as I smiled and kissed him.
