Alex's Pov.

Abigail moved to sit on a little stool on the stage, positioning the microphone correctly in front of her, she lifted the guitar onto her lap and tweaked the strings, gentle yet precise familiar, her eyes closed and she started to play the first few cords, everything about her flashed in my brain as too familiar, I just couldn't piece it all together.

"Alex" I turned my head around quickly and saw Josh walking in my direction, he looked up at abigail on the stage with almost a look of guilt, I shrugged it off and walked in his direction.

He spoke to me but the volume in the tent wouldn't allow me to hear his voice, he motioned for me to follow him away from the tent, I reluctantly agreed leaving before Abi even started to sing, gutting.

"Ive been looking for you all morning, where you been?" I shook my head and ruffled my hand through my hair.

"In the bus sleeping off a hangover then I took a stroll over here, I was actually about to hear you're TM sing" Josh nodded a little and looked back towards the tent biting his lip.

"I didn't even know she could, its like I know everything about her, and then when I look at the big picture I know nothing at all, this tour has actually made me realise its like shes a whole different person or something" Weird, Josh looked conflicted and sad, I was genuinely interested.

"How long have you known her?" Josh thought for a minute, tapping his fingers on his knee.

"Almost 3 years I think" I nodded and we walked over to sit down on the grass.

"I noticed a slight accent on her is she even British" Josh shook his head and laughed.

"Nope she moved over from here when she was 17, like four years ago I think, her accent was a lot like yours when I first met her but I guess it washed out, not sure where in America shes from" Josh resealed off all this information to me freely but it meant nothing, but with every new thing I learnt it just got weirder, and she got more familiar.

"I actually wanted to check how ella is, Im sorry abigail hit her like that" So it was Abigail but why?

"Yeah shes fine, I think it dented her pride more than anything else, what was that actually about?" Josh leaned back on the grass taping his shades over his head.

"Abigail asked Ella some questions about her dad and stuff and then called Ella a liar, it was the strangest thing, its like it physically angered her then she just snapped, then she ran away" Why would Abigail even care about Ella's past how would she know she was lieing.

"Why did she run?" Josh seemed to get werided out by the questions I know how it seemed, I was more intersted in his friend than Ella.

"I told her I was disgusted in her, I mean it, it was like she was someone else, not the girl I fell in love with" That angered me, Love?

"You love her? does she know that" Josh stifled a chuckle and stood up from the ground extending a hand to pull me up with him.

"I should hope so shes my girlfriend" For some bizarre reason I became infuriated, everything about this girl flashed red, everything about her was so familiar.

"Lucky you" Those were the only words I managed to choke out, Josh smiled and walked back towards the tent giving me a half smile before he went.

"You wont be saying that when she comes back to your bus drenched and hungover from the night before, I mean who just decides to go swimming in a river?" And with that he ran back towards the tent leaving me with a giant bomb shell, all the memory's came flooding back when I put her face to them.
