Cant You See To Me Your Dead. (Remembering Sunday Sequel)

We were so caught up in love we didn't have a chance to come up for air.

Alex's Pov.

Coffee shop soundtrack blasted out of the speakers in the bathroom, listening back to my music kind of made me feel queasy but anything to keep Ella happy, especially today, today was the first day of warped tour and we had to get to Minnesota, the bus was fairly quiet at this time in the morning, everyone was sleeping apart from Ella who insisted on "partying in the bathroom?" I have no idea what that meant, but I'm sure to find out.

I laid sprawled across the back lounge with a beanie shielding me eyes from the bright light, we had been driving for just over a day and were due to arrive in warped in about 2 hours to get set up and ready to play.

It's been about two weeks since we found out we were even playing warped and since Ella came back into our lives, every single minute has been about her, she died her hair back, I think the red is brighter this time some how, I even got her all new clothes, she now looks and acts and is back to her old self, why does that worry me?

For the past two weeks she's been sleeping in the guest room and we've had next to no contact, I can tell she wants to but something inside me is holding me back, I just don't think I'm in this place anymore, after four years of longing for her touch the thought of it repulses me, I haven't slept since we stepped on the bus just for the fact that our bunks are right on top of each other and Im scared she will try to get in mine.

Coffee shop soundtrack ended and so did the music from the bathroom, the bus became so silent you could hear everybody's breathing, and Matt's loud obnoxious snoring, I let myself drift off and concentrate on every sound, Rian's breathing, jacks sleep talking our driver coughing, the subtle squeaking sound of the door came to life and my eyes fixed on the floor, I didn't even want to look at her, I don't have the energy.

"Ta-daaa" She shouted out obviously a great deal of excitement in her voice, I let my eyes slowly trail around to her and I nearly shat a brick at what I saw.

Her bright red hair had been padded out with hair extensions and lots and lots of hairspray giving it a too perfect doll like look, she wore the shortest daisy dukes you could ever imagine in a stone wash denim with rhinestones on the ass pockets, with an All Time Low vest from the new merch line that she had fashioned into a sort of holster top, on her feet were wedged gladiator sandals, my mouth hung open in a small O, any other girl ever would have turned mine and every male in existences head dressed like this but not her, I knew confidently Ella would never dress this cheap, who is this girl?

"Sooo what do you think, good first day of warped tour outfit?" I couldn't move my mouth to form words, I was shocked she actually sounded proud of how she looked.

"You don't like it do you, I look awful don't I?" Ella was never like this she never cared about her appearance when it came to people's approval In the slightest, what changed.

"Why does looking nice mean so much to you?" The words just spilled out as I tried to hold back some opinions, she half laughed and then sat down beside me on the sofa.

"I'm Alex Gaskarth's girlfriend silly I have to look good to be on your arm" She giggled a little like a fan girl and petted at my side, wtf, okay I was really confused now, Girlfiend that was never discussed.

I was just about to correct her when a loud crash came from the bunk area followed by some cursing, I jumped to my feet to help whoever was in distress, just to get out of the awkward situation.

Rian lay on the floor of the bunk area clutching his shoulder in pain, I rolled my eyes and quickly pulled him to his feet.

"I told you to have the middle bunk" I knew better than to ask him if he was okay, instead I just decided to be funny he didn't look pleased.

"I'm serious Rian, keep up your little accident steak and we may have to find ourself a me drummer" I winked towards the end of my sentence and Rian took a playful swipe at me, almost catching my arm.

"Your an asshole Gaskarth"I shrugged at him with a look on my face and wandered off in the direction of the back lounge, I can't wait for him to see her.

"Morning RiRi you look good today" She jumped out of her seat and bounded towards Rian pulling him in for a long hug he didn't even flinch or seem to notice the outfit, ever since she's been back they spend all there time together, there getting so close again and that means Rian doesn't notice all of her strange behaviour, Hes so caught up in love he doesn't have a chance to come up for air.

The PDA was getting a little out of control she was sat on his lap stroking his arm and he stared lovingly at the back of her head, I just wanted out I got up from my seat on the couch and turned to walk to the bunks.

"I'm gonna get some sleep, have Matt wake me when we get there please" Rian nodded in my general direction and I padded off towards the bunks before Ella could stop me, I decided to check twitter, a few mentions a tweet from Jack about porta potty handjobs>.< that boy, I decided to check some #vanswarpedtour mentions, the first one that stood out to me was a tweet from Josh of youmeatsix, there was a photo of him the band and a small long blond haired girl with snake bites and a tatoo on her hand, she was dressed in youmeatsix vest and had a big smile on her face, I read the tweet.

I recognised the last twitter tag, this girl had tweeted me before and she seemed genuinely concerned about Rian, I looked at the picture again, why the hell did she look strangely familiar, maby I've seen her at a show in Uk or something? Yeah, satisfying he'd with my deduction and tried from my lack of sleep I decided to hit the sack, warped tour is about to start you have to cherish what little sleep you get.
