Today was the day of our baby shower for dawson, and I couldn't be more excited. The theme was obviously "It's A Boy!" And all our friends were to attend. Archie, Veronica, Betty, Jughead, Sweet Pea, Fangs, Peaches, FP, Alice and the rest of the gang were all coming. Toni snd i went there early to set everything up while nana rose looked after the twins in the main hall. We hung up balloons, streamers and the like, over the next hour. Once that task was sufficiently and successfully completed, we put out the snacks and appetizers. We had things such as pigs in blankets, finger sandwiches and antipasto platters. We bought two edible arrangements and had those as well as homemade chocolate chip cookies for desert. For drinks, we had sodas, waters, etc. And I felt really prepared for this event! Dag ran up to me, and jumped into my arms (luckily I caught him because he completely surprised me when doing that. "Auntie Cheryl, I want ice cream!" "Dagwood you can have ice cream after our food, in an hour or so ok?" He nodded. Gotta love that kid, such a well behaved lil angel.
