Cheryl's POV

The next morning I woke up and immediately, out of habit, reached for Toni. When I didn't feel her there I was confused at first. I left the room and saw her in my clothes, sitting on the couch with a blanket and pillow, tears running down her face. I turned to the side and saw a note that said "for Cheryl" with an arrow pointing down to the table which was filled with gifts from Toni. I picked up a pack of cards labeled "52 reasons why I love you" I read them.

Then, I read the note she left me.

Dear Cheryl Marjorie Blossom,

I am so sorry for what I did to you. It was years ago, it was a shitty fucking thing to do and I'll regret it for the rest of my life. But I don't wanna lose you. You're the best person in my life, without you I'd still be homeless. Please please forgive me. I know it'll take time but I swear I've never cheated. I almost did bur I was sad without you. I stopped because I thought of you. In fact, we didn't even kiss. As soon as they got undressed I said to stop. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me, and please forgive Pea. He loves you.

I smiled and wiped a tear from my eye. The note was written on this card:

She also left me a bouquet of roses, a necklace with a T on it, and a topaz ring.

I went up to her and sat on her lap. "Babe?" She said. "Hey future wife," I said, smirking. "Can I still call you that?" I asked, worried that I upset her by being angry yesterday. "Of course babe." And I smiled at her response. "Will you help me put on my necklace? Thank you by the way." I asked. She helped me. "That looks good on you." "Everything looks good on me." I said, winking. That was an old thing I said to her back at the very beginning of our relationship. "I gotta go talk to Sweet Pea, I said. By the way, Toni also made me an acrostic poem with my name.

I went into sweet pea and fangs room, where he was siting with gifts in his hands. "Cheryl." He said, getting up to come talk to me.
