Next morning.....

"I will miss you so much, please come visit soonest." Affan said to his cousin as they walked down the stairs. Though Affan is older than Adnaan with two years, but the bond between these two is beyond anybody's understanding. Adnaan behaves more maturedly than his cousin who is carefree and very playful in nature.

"Sure I will come visit soon, take care of yourself and siblings." Adnaan replied hugging his cousin.

"Be a good girl and don't make trouble." Habeebah said tickling her niece.

"Okay aunty." Kydah replied giggling.

"Take care of yourself and be strong, remember I will always be there for you anytime. Abdulhameed sends his regards, he left for work earlier." Humairah comforted Habeebah.

"Sure sis thanks a lot." Habeebah gave her sister a small smile as they moved towards the garage where Suhaib is waiting to convey them all to Baba's house.

"You deserve more." Humairah replied happily.

"Let's get going, I have work to do." Suhaib said impatiently.

"Wait a minute where is Aaliyah and Hanaan?" Hajara asked Adnaan.

"They're on their way I guess." He replied.

"You both should stop crying, I am tired of trying to console you." Aaliyah said annoyed coming out the doorway with her sister and cousin.

"Mummy please talk to them, I don't know what to say anymore." She said clearly frustrated.

"What is it? Why are they crying?" Humairah asked with concern.

"Zakir we should stop crying now, everyone will laugh at us. I will come back soon, take care of yourself for me okay?" Hanaan said chuckling.

"You always talk like you're older than me but in the real sense, we are age mates." Zakir huffed.

"Hello I am older than you with three months." She replied making both laugh.

"Silly! Take care, I'll miss you." Zakir smiled hugging her.

"Is that settled? Please can we get going, I have to be at work in an hour's time." Suhaib whined.

"You all should get going before he starts crying, my regards to Baba and Umma." Humairah said teasingly.

"Bye!" And with that they all entered the car and Suhaib drove off.

"Grandma! Grandpa! We are home." Hanaan screamed.

"Oh my baby! How are you?" Baba asked Hanaan lifting her in his arms.

"I am very happy to see you, I missed you a lot." She said winking.

"Good day Grandpa." Adnaan greeted bowing his head.

"How are you young man? You don't seem to ask of me anymore these days." Baba answered.

"It's not so Baba, I have been occupied with school work that's why." He replied smiling. It's been a long time he has smiled, even if he does he gives a small one but this one looks genuine.

"You are still young but occupied, what if you get older like me what will you be?" Baba asked laughing.

"Leave my grandson alone, stop teasing him." Umma said coming into the living room.

"How have you been my boy? You look thin, don't you eat properly?" She asked Adnaan who rolled his eyes.

"Not today Grandma I am not a child anymore, I am 12 now. I eat properly so you don't have to worry." He replied scampering away from his Grandmom. He never knows what's up with her and food.
