“But truly girlfriend, you are glowing. Tell me what the secret is?” Habeebah asked, throwing Aisha a wink.
“I can say the same of you, you are also looking beautiful. Any secrets?” Aisha replied grinning.
“Well there’s no secret for me. I have just been resting regularly with no stress at all.” She said. “Yours is a different kind of glow wait, are you_?” She asked intently staring at her.
“Yes, yes, go on.” Aisha urged her smiling.
“Oh my God!” Habeebah squealed. “You are pregnant! Congratulations sweetie, I am so happy for you.”
“Thank you very much dear.”
“Wow! I am going to become an aunt again. This time around, you definitely have to name her after me.” Habeebah said, stylishly flicking her hair off her shoulder.
“Yeah right, not happening.” Aisha waved her off.
“But why?” She asked pouting.
“How sure are you it’s going to be a girl?” Aisha asked obviously knowing the answer to the question.
“Oh please! I guessed the first two, this shouldn’t be any different.” She replied, bubbling with pride.
“I know right.” Aisha said with an eye roll.“So, you’ll give her my name yeah? She asked delighted.
“I knew it!” Dressed in a cyan gown, adorned with stones, Humairah barged into the room. Silver jewelries prettified her ears, neck and wrists. A pair of silver stiletto graced her feet and a clutch purse in hand. She looked extremely gorgeous. “I knew you still haven’t gotten ready, we are running late Habeebah!”
“Ever heard of the terms “knocking and privacy”?” Habeebah asked, glaring at her. “By the way, you look sheen.” She added giving her a once over.
“What have you been doing?” Humairah questioned, walking further into the room.
“I am on a video call with Aisha.” She replied.
“Anything the matter Habeebah?” Aisha asked peering into the phone.
“Yeah, my beautiful sister felt this would be the best time to intrude.” She answered sarcastically.
“Hello there Aisha!” Humairah hollered, grabbing the phone from Habeebah’s hand and also shoving her a little.
Habeebah retreated to her closet to pick an outfit, not before smacking her on the arm.
“Ouch! Your friend is a bully.” Humairah muttered, feigning hurt.
“That I know.” Aisha whispered chuckling. “How are you doing Adda? It’s been a while and, you are looking beautiful.”
“Thank you so much sweetie. I am fine and, how are you? You totally forgot about me.” She replied.
“I didn’t, I have just been occupied.” Aisha said coyly.
“I am also at fault here, I don’t even have your contact. But, don’t worry I will get that it from that girl.” Humairah rejoined excited.
“That’s fine, I see you guys are planning to head out. Let me not keep you waiting.” Aisha smiled.
“I missed you darling, so I thought to make a video call.” Habeebah said emerging from the closet, all dressed up. She was clad in a long sleeved, dark tan fitted gown, bedeck with stones.
“You are look ravishing girly.” Aisha complimented, wiggling her brows. “You will make people trip.”
“Oh no! Is it too revealing?” Habeebah asked worried.
